Samsung BD-D5100 Audio issues
« on: Jul 10, 2012 at 02:25 PM »
Mayron na naman akong problem mga boss. Ngayon pa lang ako naka try nito.

Na set ko na yung Bluray player (Samsung BD-D5100) ko from PCM to Bitstream (Audiophile). Dolby and DTS movies sound okay. Pero pag play ko ng Transformers at Eagles concert (both in DTS format also), choppy po ang sound. Pero pag play ko sa computer, okay naman.

Help me po... Thanks!

blu ray ba ang source mo boss? kasi kung digital file lang yan and you're using the BD player as a media player hit or miss talaga yan. a lot of our friends here will advise you to get a standalone media player that can handle a multitude of file types or better yet go for an HTPC. BD players were primarily designed to play Blu ray discs. yung media capability is just an added feature so it may not be properly implemented. i used to play my media files through an LG BD player but i've had a lot of problems playing some files so i went ahead and just purchased an nmt. for the future i'm planning to get an htpc for total compatibility

Yes sir... I'm using an external drive (Western Digital Passport) as my repository for my movies and plug it into the BD Player. Lahat po ng movies ko plays normally except for these 2. :(

What's ND and NMT po? Okay lang ba yung Western Digital TV Hub?

I've tried playing the same Transformers MKV file from the BD player directly to the TV (off lang yung receiver) and smooth lang yung audio, hindi na choppy.

I think receiver issue eto... Ano kaya gagawin ko dito?
