well it depends of the numbers of interested to acquire this unit.... if we will be able to get another 50 units then why not.

Is the radia referred to here is exactly the same as the one reviewed on Secrets of Home Theater link posted on the other thread? The review claimed it was engineered and manufactured in the US. How true is it?  :)

All capacitor values are in microfarads ( uF ).
All coil values are in millihenrys ( mH ).

NOTE: as the chart shows, values scale up and down directly, in
octaves, for changes in impedance of half or double, and by factors of
ten for frequency factors of ten. To determine crossover points higher
or lower than those shown on the chart, select the proper impedance (4,
8, or 16 ohms) then look up the frequency in the left column that is
ten times or one tenth of your desired frequency and simply move the
decimal points to the right or to the left to determine the correct
values. Higher frequencies require moving the decimal points to the
left, and lower frequencies require moving the decimal points to the
right.

EXAMPLE: 8-ohm crossover for 80 Hz subwoofer will require a 177 uF
capacitor and a 22.6 mH coil.

CROSSOVER INDUCTORS
Wire gauges used for winding air-core inductors should be chosen
so that crossover-associated power losses are minimized. Look at the
wire table to get an idea of the approximate added resistance you will
have when using a particular wire gauge to wind inductors. This added
resistance not only spoils amplifier damping factors, but can also de-
tune vented low frequency loudspeaker systems. Use the heaviest gauge
double form var insulated wire possible for winding inductors. If you
are buying ready-made inductors, don't be misled; the coil in the 80 Hz
subwoofer example above would be 100-200 mm (4"-8") in diameter and
weigh from 2 to 8 kg (4-16 lb) depending on wire gauge. An RF coil
designed for use in radios may have the same inductance (at high
frequencies) and be wound on a pencil-sized bobbin with fine wire.
This type of inductor will definitely not work in a crossover with
loudspeaker loads connected.
Make sure your coils are wound tightly with neatly stacked layers
which produce a winding cross section that is approximately square.
The bobbin used to wind coils for crossovers should have an inside coil
diameter which is twice the coil width or thickness, and the outside
coil diameter should be wound out to four times the coil's width, or
twice the inside diameter. After winding, saturate the coil in lacquer
or resin. After drying, wrap it with stretchable cloth tape and give
it another coat of lacquer. Keeping the layers stacked neatly and the
coil cross section square, helps minimize the wire resistance for a
given inductor value.
Use a mounting board made of non-magnetic material such as
masonite or plywood. Place coils on your crossover mounting board so
that all coils are facing each other at right angles to minimize
magnetic inductive coupling. Some distance between coils helps reduce
coupling also. Keep any coils away from large metal surfaces. Place
insulating tubing over coil lead out wires to prevent shorts in case of
speaker system vibration. On long lead out wires, clamps or blobs of
hot glue should be used to dress wires securely to the mounting board.

CROSSOVER CAPACITORS
Capacitors used in crossovers MUST BE NON-POLARIZED and for best
sound must have low self-inductance. High-quality 100-200 volt rated,
foil wound Mylar capacitors should be used and should be individually
paralleled by 0.01 microfarad polypropylene or polystyrene capacitors
to short out the high-frequency self-inductance of coil formed by the
many layers of foil winding inside. Capacitors should be placed on the
crossover mounting board away from heat-producing power resistors.
Capacitor placement is not critical in terms of electrical operation of
the crossover, however, capacitors should be attached so that speaker
system vibration will not break their leads by bending and metal
fatigue.

You could check US audio512, 510 or 508....  or DTX series 4.10, 4.12 or 4.15. kung wala ka mapili sa megamall,
try mo sa Raon @ knight Auidio

Just to add to this topic...

Don't belittle the Dai-ichi brand for all the enthusiast there. I have known the owner and their profile long enough to say how world class their quality is. Here are some of the customers which they supply to, to their respective countries:

1. Marshall guitar amps .Yep, you heard me right! They have been supplying speakers to Marshall amps for years now. Buy a Marshall amp from US and try to look at the cone and magnet you'll see that the parts are very similar to Dai-ichi design. Well of course, they are the same.

2. Armstrong Speakers - ceiling speakers very famous in the US. They even have a patent on it. (http://www.armstrong.com/commceilingsna/i-ceilings.jsp)

3. Bose - No this is not a joke. Bose used to source all their speakers from China, but after suffering from bad quality feedback they looked for another quality supplier exclusive for EU and US markets only. Guess who they sourced it from?? You got it right. They went to Dai-ichi Philippines to hear for themselves what the quality level of speakers they are buying. They even borrowed some of Dai-ichi electronic's design in their speaker. Too bad, those high end speakers are not for sale here in Philippines. Bose only sells China made speakers here in the Philippines. So if you hear a Bose speaker that is sounding really bad, thats a China sourced speaker. You have to go to US to buy the Pinoy made speaker thats inside that Bose plastic cube.

4. Speakerkraft - very high end car speakers very famous in the US

5. KEF Speakers - (http://www.kef.com) These are high end speakers ranging from professional audiophiles to high end home theater speakers. They worked with this company to perfect their sound. Believe me, these are not low end speakers.

6. JVC - They working on a new technology for processing wires in their speakers with JVC. These are for the professional line of speakers with JVC.

So how come they have inconsistent quality when you buy it from Raon or other places? Well, Pinoys are not that demanding as a customer compared to US and EU. So they are not very strict on their standard when selling speakers locally. We have a "pwede na yan" mentality. And so far, no one even tried reporting this to DTI.

So now you know Dai-ichi and its hidden capability. Be proud that they are making a name in the speaker industry in US, EU and other parts of the world. Be proud because they are 100% made by pinoys!!

Not only are Pinoys "not that demanding" but as I have said  before, the paying capacity of the pinoy masses dictates that speaker prices should be low enough which necessitates the lowering of quality standards to accommodate the price cut.

Prices of Dai products abroad is high enough to allow the manufacturer to use best design and materials and still profit from it.  ;)

and it has a bigger magnet than the ones i saw (and posted above)

Stock DQ12 driver vs the Aura 12,000rpm (by Dai-Ichi)

i don't have the exact specs of the 12,000rpm but it sure is sensitive than the stock driver. rattling our small living room and the slam is oh so...
darn! it really rocks hard! break in mode pa yung driver and tweaked the power caps to 4 x 10,000uf

Be proud because they are 100% made by pinoys!!

wala yata sa listahan yung mga high-endrs?  ::) ::) ::)

parang may kamuka dito, alin kaya?

Hi! I am just new here. I would like to help those who wanted to get Dai-ichi products as I used to distribute their products before. Although I don't have a shop or store right now, I could still get their products.
For subwoofer drivers, they are the manufacturers of the highly regarded Crystal Mobilesound for car installs. Other brands they have sold locally are Esoteric Audio and Phoenix Gold (their drivers sold here are discontinued in the US that's why they are now sold locally from whatever stock they have left.
For speakers they have sold some units of Klipsch SB-1 or SB-2 and the BG Radia X-1 (both of which are discontinued in the US).
On the iPod/MP3 and Sony PSP front, they have the Banshee Audio. Old models are the ones sold locally if they are still available. The new models will not be sold here because of licensing agreements.
If interested send me PM.
Thanks.
