some other questions regarding your speakers:
- may cross-over po ba yung speaker ninyo? I think it was mentioned/asked by sir camoteque sa speaker DIY'ers thread
- kung bi-ampable, ibig sabihin you can connect different amplifiers to drive the 8" and 10" drivers, tama po ba? have you tried na tumutunog lang yung 8" drivers and/or yung 10" drivers lang? kumusta naman ang tunog nila (kapag either yung 8" or 10" driver lang ang tumutunog) given their position sa enclosure?

wala po itong cross over kasi pag full range hindi na po required ang cross over. Yes napag individual and bi-amp ko na din po ito. sa sq as of now kung patutunugin ng separate mas maganda ang SQ ng 8" inches kahit pataas ang firing nya kasi fully burn in na and malawak din kasi ang sweet spot ng AN kaya kahit pataas e dinig pa din po ang full detail at bass lahat ng makarinig yun ang sinasabi a week ago,ngayon medyo lumalabas na din po yung tunay na sound ng 10" mga 1 week pa po and God willing e madidinig na tunay na SQ ng 10" and upper part palang po ang partially may stuffing wala pa sa ibaba inaantay ko pa ma break in ng husto bago mag tweak.

very possible to biamp, just unhook the jumpers on the speaker binding posts and connect two sets of amplifiers.....the caveat is that the two sets of amps must have the same gain...and you will need an active cross-over.....i have one such unit here in case Jun wants to try out...

huwag naman...pag gawa na at tumutunog na, tapos na ang math at science, puro listening na lang...

kasi nga wala namang passive cross-over na pwedeng kalikutin pa....

Naisip ko lang sa setup ni sir Jun, lalong dumami ang possibilities ng pag-setup ng kanyang audio system:

you are welcome to drop by the house to have a listen on my amps....

wrt to running just one speaker, if you do this,
the other speaker undriven becomes a passive radiator,
would be interesting to find out how this work out...

Salamat sir Tony! Busy lang sa trabaho, kaya hindi ako makapag-sched ng pagpunta sa lugar ninyo. Magsasabi po ako kung makakapunta ako sa inyo sa Pasig. Gusto ko rin puntahan yung lugar ni sir Jun to have a listen to his AN speakers together with your tube amps.

na try ko na po ito lahat only pag naka bi-amp na sya nagkakaroon ng phase cancel so what I did was I inverted the polarity of the 8" speaker para di mabawasan ang bass the rest connections are ok, as of now nga lang na di pa totally burned in ang 10" e mas maganda SQ nung 8"

ang pinagkaiba lang naman ay walang motor structure yung true passive radiators...
at saka sayang kung gagamitin mo lang na passive radiator yung speaker na may
magnet/motor, sayang naman....pero kung sa gagana, ganana sya....

Installed muna in el cheapo boxes para magamit na while waiting for my materials

Coming from Wharf 121s, the difference is immediately noticeable

Not getting much bass yet though, hoping it comes out with break in or pag nasa proper box na

if you want more gain, the middle peanut tube can be replaced with a 12AT7.....or a 12AV7...

more than enough na ang gain master and overflowing ang bass nitong 832 na ito lalo na nung kinabit namin yung 6H8 prototype pre amp nag smooth ang SQ at yumayanig ang listening room ko
