Sir Tony, talking about the clipping, since 30 W lang ung AN using a 200 WPC amp, once nag distort ba ay clipping parin ang term dun? paano po mahihirapan ung 200w na amp sa 30w na AN in this case? if its the low powered amp to AN's po siguro ay mejo aaintindihan ko kung paano mahirapan ung amp.. Thanks po..
power rating for speakers do not mean anything to me...
even if rated for 30 watts you can still destroy it with
just a mere 5 watts input using sine waves...
music signals unlike sine waves have far lesser energy content....
solid state amps rated 200 watts connote several meanings,
one, it can be pmpo rating so that even if it says 200 watts,
in reality is is a mere 20 watter, take the Sakua AV200 for example....
assuming that that 200 watt amp is a true rated 200 watt,
it can still overload during transients depending on the program material.
amps are easily overloaded by input signal....
this is related to the internal circuity of the amplifier..
so to me mere wattage ratings do not tell the whole story...
