In my opinion, the white paint gloss looks good, but the aesthetic design for me looks like DIY lang e, nothing special, unless the front design has some technical use for it to be designed that way.

it seems like the front is thicker on the part where the driver is installed. This have effects on the sound, thicker wood/mdf/etc gives sonic improvement, lessens the vibration when the driver is installed in a more stable part of the box, some well known branded speakers advocate this design.

mga bossing, browsing this thread.. is it really advisable to get this speaker instead of other known brands?

sensya na mag start pa lang ako magplan bumili ng gamit and newbie lang din sa audio system

I'd advise you to audition all speakers that you are targetting for comparison, only you sir will know based on your taste and listening preferences.
Marami naman dito sa PinoyDVD na mababait na nagpapa-audition

depends on how deep your pocket is, the deeper it is, the more choices you have..

salamat sir, wala pa naman akong mga na target na speaker. nag check pa lang.
wala rin kasi akong experience with other speakers para ma compare ang AN kaya
im basing it on others opinion who has for now.

learning from the experience of others is fine...
but do not bet your life on it....learn fromy your own experience....
go to where these speakers are and have a listen and then you will know...

Guys share ko lang sa inyo yung recommended amp ni David Dicks for your Audio Nirvana Speakers. I'm a proud owner of 10" CF Audio Nirvana purchased from monreq with enclosure done by sir Larry aka camoteque. Kanina lang dumating yung order ko from commonsense audio ni David Dicks from US, natagalan lang ng konti sa Customs natin pero OK lang coz worth the wait naman. Hindi pa din ako makapaniwala na sa ganito kaliit na amp ay mapapangiti nya ako ng sobra with my AN speakers.

I paired the Big Joe II amp with my SMSL DSD Dac from bro Aldrin (arudorin) and hooked it up with my Music Server (Vortexbox) with high resolution flac files and DSD files as well. Impression sa amp is out of the box maganda na kagad sa pandinig ko ang SQ compaired with my other T-amps. Detailing of sound is so clear specially sa Jazz Vocals and Instrumentals. Sa fast beat songs naman ay OK din wala akong narinig na problema o delay sa tunog. Can't wait until mabreak-in ng todo yung amp mukhang malaki pa ang maigaganda ng SQ. Try it out guys, order na

may kasama na syang speaker cable sa box included eh I just used those 2m length male banana plug terminated and RJ45 terminated on the other end. Though there is also a pair of speaker adaptors RJ45 to female banana plug so you can use your speaker cable choice. Take note that the speaker terminal of Big Joe II is RJ45 same with the one we are using to connect our PC to our router.

Sealed box ba ito or rear port? But I think downfiring port is better. Eye soring ksi ang front port. Di lang ksi naniniwala ang iba na mas malupit ang bass ng AN pg nka downfiring port yung 6" port hole niya. Basta 1.5"-3" gap lang from floor.

Bro mon, happy already with mine though i know meron pang igaganda . Ayoko lang mag-invest ng todo sa cabinet & room acoustics - di ko rin maiiuwi eh. Na-curious lang ako dun sa AN na subwoofer

bro, after five months of burn-in, tweaking with stuffing & speaker placement - happy with the results.
habang tumatagal lalong nagiging swabe yung bass, pinong-pino na rin ang highs. ang mids naman sa mga nakasubok na ng AN - ''something to die for" ika nga. improvement lang sa vocals wala na yung "sss' sound.
