It's not a high concept series but the pilot hooked me. I think this is going to be one of those guilty pleasures like Revenge or The Valleys.

Exactly. It's actually very similar to Dallas, but with music.

Plus it's fun watching the saved cheerleader as the bitch from hell.  O0

I'm not a fan of country music but I love this show!

I'm not into TV series' but I might watch a few episodes from this one because Nashville is such a cool city. A big chunk of it is old, but it's not dodgy like other such cities. There's lots of entertainment, the climate's mild, and the cost of living is fairly low (save for parking fees in the touristy areas). Traffic does get bad downtown in US standards, but it's nowhere near as bad as MM traffic during rush hours.

I just watched the trailer in Youtube. I think Carlo would agree that the accent isn't quite right (pretty downright terrible, actually). Perhaps they intentionally made it so for general consumption purposes.

The second episode had way too much country music for me. Not sure I can put up with it if it stays like that every week.

I really like the cast, though.

By episode 3 I learned to tolerate the music, and even enjoy some of it. Too bad the ratings stink, but I'll stick with this one until it gets the ax.

After watching this week's episode, I think the show works better with more music and less over-the-top soap cliches.

LOL. I agree. I actually enjoy country music. The very soapy storyline is predictable, but mildly entertaining.

I'd take this over the zombie stuff.
