How much would you spend on a video projector's screen?

Would you spend more on the screen than the projector?  The question at first glance doesn't make sense.  If you go by a camera collector’s analogy that you are better off invested in the lens rather than a DSLR then it kinda makes sense.  Screen Innovation's Black Diamond technology is one such investment.  When I first saw the demo I thought I was looking at a gigantic 120” plasma TV!  I was further more impress when the dealer, Architectural Audio told me that they were using a low end projector at the time.  I can't wait to see the all out set up they plan at the November Hifi Show.  Awesome!

This is a very good screen, especially for bright rooms with no light control. However, I wouldn't compare it to the lens of a DSLR. Baka photo paper pa. For a pj, a DSLR lens is like the pj lens and its optics.

Mas mahal pa ung screen kesa sa PJ ko. huwaw... Baka yung price sa ibang bansa doble price ng distro dito.  >:D >:D

I just saw the zero edge g2 youtube video, and it looks like it is applying the principle of photography which is against the light - if you are facing the source of the light, the area focused casts a silhouette that makes the image appear darker thus a better contrast ratio. amazing :)
