I have 2 units here with wrong egreat firmware loaded, kaso di ko marecover for some strange reason.

what makes it worse is the confusing versions ng  egreat
R6S
R6S plus pro
R6S plus

tapos may variant sila na iba ang firmware size than the older one. and looking at the outside and the make model and serial there's no way to check, grr.

But mind you di na nag upgrade itong egreat for realtek series as they focused on Android recently.

 yang remnants you can still see out in the markets are likely last of their kind. (well unless you order bulk again they'd manufacture 1 for you).

please confirm lang if R6S or R6S plus or R6S Plus pro (PM me serial number and the adaptor (12V/3A , 12V/2A, 5A/2A, has bare SATa port ?, with antenna?)

Hi Jim, I still haven't gotten the opportunity to update my units s800 since I got it.

What the latest FW for this and is it worth the hassle of upgrading it? Take note that after all these years, I am still very happy with my s800 and haven't town at it anything that hasn't played, be it movie or music, so dunno if I should update

Having problems with my rs6...

Everytime i power on it gets stuck sa main screen. At first kala ko remote, yun pala ayaw lang talaga. Volume and mute buttons work but the left right up down ayaw.

Not sure whats wrong with my unit...is it dead?

I hope someone can share how to fix the problem...kaka bad trip!

I take it is not the egreat bootup screen but nakarating ka sa main screen.

1. Change battery ng remote. If one function works the other doesn't sa remote di kaya may tama remote?

2. see if a usb keyboard let's you manually go up and down, if you get it working with the kb baka yung remote.

Not the batteries chnaged to new ones already. It can still be the remote but I just find it odd that some buttons work only the right arrow works intermittently.

I reach naman the main menu where the icons are. Pero yung nga there are days that even the right arrow wont work. I cant use the return button as well, so one way lang kung baga. If i miss the icon, I have to turn it off and do it all over again.

Did you try a usb keyboard plugged? Kahit ordinary wired I think they would work.

For two days i was able to use it but up anfpd left keys not working. The return button also working now.

Sorry have not tried keyboard since we dont have one at home. Thanks for the suggestion

Hi egreat users,

I can't turn on my egreat r6s using the remote. I'm thinking that the remote might be defective but I'm not sure.
I replaced it with new batteries but still the same. Is there a way to turn it on without remote or do I need to replace the remote?
If you have any suggestions, Please let me know.

Just direct your remote in your phone camera and check if there is a light.

I followed your suggestion and verified that there is light from the remote.
Maybe the unit is not able to respond to the remote signal.
Is there a way to turn on the unit without the remote?

hindi kasi mabasa ang srt file para sa subtitle ang rs6 ko.

try mo sir i rename yung file EXACTLY by abort renaming the video file.
select all of the text of the video file and copy to clipboard, then press [esc]
then paste mo text sa *.srt mo

1. highlight mo muna yung video file, then right button (pick Rename )
2. at this point, it will highlight the whole file, (press control + C, to copy to clipboard) then press(esc)
3. at this point the filename (less the extension is in the clipboard)
4. now highlight and rename the *.SRT file you have, then press control + V, paste from clipboard) then [Enter]

magiging same filename dun sa video file ? except sa file extension..
