Let's share the good/great deals we find on amazon for blu rays whether it is from US, UK, Germany, Canada.

I know we can monitor it sa Blu-ray.com but you have to sift through other uninteresting titles. Here, let's just put titles which are interesting to us. For today, the best deals i found are Mel Brooks' collection and Rocky Undisputed Collection from Amazon US. That's a total of $56 for a whooping 15 movies!

That's 160pesos per movie ($43 is the exchange rate i based it on).

Anyway, that's my share for today. Hope everyone else who finds a good deal shares their find. Happy buying, everyone!

*in addition, Resident Evil 1-4 set and Underworld Legacy set are selling for $30 each as well.

For me, a very good deal today at Amazon US is for the Casablanca (70th Anniversary Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo) Boxset. Current price is at US$ 24.99. I believe this used to sell for upwards of US$ 40.

yes that too sir! although i don't think i'll watch that movie so i didn't mention it. that's why it would be good that everyone who finds an interesting deal for them should share it here. I might share some deals which aren't really appealing to anyone else. haha.

Just wait for the Black Friday Sale in Amazon, for sure their is a lot great deals. Usually 1 week silang sale. Ambang ka lang

If you're interested in Complete Superman Collection 8-disc BD set (region-free) , it's now down to 19.75 pounds at Amazon.co.UK (from 27.97). Price and shipping charge are both way below than the US version.

i pointed that out in the first post. just saying that members here can share their interesting picks for what they consider as a good deal from amazon. blu-ray.com does not tell you that. it just shows you the prices. that's it. at least here, members are encouraged to post their opinion as to what they think is a good purchase.

this. i couldn't find a good deal for Superman Returns...lo and behold, this set dropped to its current price. instantly ordered it. great deal for Superman Anthology indeed.

of course, the Matrix, Back to the Future and Spidey trilogy from Amazon UK are still selling at 10 to 12 gbp each, i believe. so if you still don't have those sets, go check it out from amazon UK.

Please let me share three tips for would be Amazon.com blu ray bargain hunters:

1. Compare Amazon UK and Amazon US BD prices first before placing an order- a little patience won't hurt; you will be rewarded with the best bargain!
2. If you are not in a hurry, use the "wishlist" feature of Amazon.com. You can select all the titles you want and then wait for the prices to drop. Check your wishlist from time to time. It may be months before a title's price changes, but there are times even new titles get as much as $10 mark down 2-3 weeks after the release date to encourage more customers to place orders
3. Watch out for big sale events, one is the Black Friday sale which was also mentioned above. That's on Nov. 23 (evening dito sa atin)
Edit: Amazon's Black Friday is actually a week-long sale event and it starts on Nov. 19 (evening)

actually, i get updates from amazon about sales on some of their titles, recently i was able to purchase terminator 2, predator and last samurai at $5 each.  Thats a good enough deal from my perspective.

yeah T2 has been at 5$ for a long time. as for Last Samurai at $5, that's great. it has been at $7.99 for a while now

swertehan lang din talaga sa amazon, I got my aliens for 7.88 or 7.99 ata and when i ordered for my brother nag shoot up na to 16.96 and today its at 14.96.  Decent din naman yung sale ng amazon, but like any other sale, timing makes it perfect.

Another example of this is the Casablanca 70th Anniversary Limited Edition Boxset I mentioned yesterday morning. From a bargain of US$ 24.99, the price has now gone back to US$ 46.93. Good thing I ordered it ASAP from one of our kind PinoyDVD Sellers.

another tip. based on my shopping experience from amazon, most of the new movies usually dropped a week after they released. again abang ka lang.

see, this deal is not listed on blu-ray.com. that's why this thread can definitely be helpful for people looking for good deals. I actually have this already. it went on sale for $15 last month as well but shot back up to around $30, i think. not sure but its price shot up.
