NATGEO would have to dedicate a whole season of Scam City, if it was to feature Da Pilipins.  ;D

Scams here cover all aspects and all classes - from the street hustlers, to the hundreds of so-called networking businesses ..... all the way to pseudo-religions and our CORRUPT government.

How about Danding Cojuangco scamming thousands of poor farmers ...... along the way, becoming one of the richest and boss of the largest conglomerate in the country ...... now that's a scam!  O0

I fear for the safety of Conor Woodman and the NATGEO crew if they did an episode here in the Philippines..

may parang salisi gang style sa Rio De Janeiro Brazil.

sa beach, may isang lalaking biglang lalapit sa nakaupo na victim then parang ibibilin yung mga gamit nya na hinubad sasabihin mag swimming lang sya saglit. while he is distracting yung victim may isa ng sisimple sa likuran at kukunin na yung bag o ano mang gamit nung victim from the back..

I've heard so many horror stories about Rio.  If you guys think Manila's not safe, Rio will have you cowering at your hotels. :P

This is a great show. So far learned a thing or two about Spain (pickpockets) and Vatican/Rome (bogus tour guides), etc. Definitely a good guide for tourists and frequent travellers alike.

As for Pinas, if they were to feature us here I don't think one season will cover it all. Too much scamming and criminality simply happening. We have our local shows like XXX and Imbestigator and they are never running out of scams/trickery to feature. If Scam City indeed does a show about us, I am sure it will be the death of our tourism industry!

There are a lot of good people out there no doubt but they are being overshadowed by men/women/children who would not think twice about taking advantage of their countrymen. Sad but true.

i forgot where it was but they featured a place where there were a lot of pickpockets, theres this one person who goes on the subway and her advocacy of sorts was to warn people boarding the train if there are pick pockets around. she even go as far as apprehending the thief and turning him over to the guards.

i like the episode when he went to some eastern european country, and he was sold fake cocaine, rode on a taxt with a turbo meter (di lang pala sa pinas yun), and almost beaten up by some thugs at a nightclub cum whorehouse.

I think instead of covering scams, XXX and Imbestigador rather raid girlie bars. It's becoming their hobby   ;D

But their episode featuring Bangkok, di nila na exposed yung mastermind nung mga scams in the jewelry shop and temples.... :)

Yung sa New Delhi, India, yun lang yata ang feature nila na walang pickpockets... mababait ang mga Indians? :).. mostly ng scams featured was sa fake doctors and official gov't documents..
