i use both. i prefer foobar for it's smoother sound to tame the highs a bit, but i prefer the UI of jriver as it is easier to use. they both sound great, just different

WASAPI is a windows audio session protocol that applications can use boss, it's not a playback application like VLC. A playback application can use WASAPI, on the other hand.

I see. I followed the wasapi setup on foobar. It's quite interesting.

yan ang problema ko with foobar, i have never been able to make the ios remote to work. buti pa yung j river may webmote and plug player which works great for me

Yung plug player paid app yun. Yung web remote browser lang, you just need to configure dlna of j river

guys, need help with jriver. im using it with the FURUTECH ESPRIT DAC.
has anyone tried using this with an spdif out ng computer instead of USB? before kasi, i had it working na then, when i had my jriver reinstalled, now it only works with usb na lang, ayaw na sa spdif out. any suggestions? thanks

You need to have bonjour running as a service tou your pc... You can do this by installing itunes sa pc mo...

Im using my river remote with my jrivers and yes may bayad sya...pero mura lang 200+ pesos lang... Yakang yaka mo...

hi sir,na try mo nakapag audition ka na ba ng musiland?i heard na may stocks na ulit ng us01.try to audition one bago maubos ulit yung stocks.just install foobar or j river on your pc and hear the difference especially on those 24 bit music files.you won't be disappointed if ever you decide to buy one

sa latop na bigay na office ayaw...may mga nakablock ata or something hehe...

You have to boot your foobar first so you would need your monitor initially. Pero after starting the foobar, you can use your android na. Less distraction.

Nagtampo lang kay Master Paul ang Foobar dahil pinagpalit nya nung una. Nagpapakahard to get pa muna ngayon na binabalikan ni Master Paul kasi baka sabihin daw eh cheap app siya (parang totoo naman, pumapatol nga ng walang bayad eh).

Nagtampo lang kay Master Paul ang Foobar dahil pinagpalit nya nung una. Nagpapakahard to get pa muna ngayon na binabalikan ni Master Paul kasi baka sabihin daw eh cheap app siya (parang totoo naman, pumapatol nga ng walang bayad eh).

High end daw kasi ang gamit niya sa house. kaya dapat, gaya ng high end phone niya, high end din dapat ang software sa high end 8 core PC niya.

it can even play and search for files within my home network. Or control more than 1 pc.

Finally, napagana ko na yung MonkeyMote for Foobar sa laptop ko! Will try it tomorrow sa HTPC.
