Wow, after almost a year of trying, failing and eventually falling back on using Kernel Streaming, I'm finally able to use WASAPI click and pop-free with my HRT MS II and Jriver Media Center. I don't know if its because I updated to MC18 or the firmware in my MS II to v2.3 but WASAPI push mode works flawlessly(yes!). Event-style still gives me occasional clicks so that's a no-go.

As for foobar2000, my DAC works with both event-style and regular WASAPI with the latest 3.1 WASAPI output component. JRMC18 still sounds better to me, though.

^ Same dilemma din ako awhile back when I was "trying-out" JRiver Media Center. Tried all the work-arounds and "patches" out there. Wala rin akong nahanap na permanent na solusyon so ayun, binili ko nalang nung 10% off siya. Medyo mahal pa rin pero worthit. I get all the incremental updates pa. Free upgrade to JRMC version 18 when that came out. Nakiusap na lang ako kay Jim Hillegass(founder ng Jriver Inc.) sa Jriver forums dahil di ako umabot sa promo nila. Pinag-bigyan ako. :)

Try out MusicBee, I read ok daw yung music library management features niya at sound quality. Best of all, free siya. Pwede mo rin i-customize yung UI ng Foobar2000 to suit your preferences. Medyo complicated nga lang but you only have to do it once.

I like foobar than j river... Nag pa blind test ako sa daugther ko using the two player, same amps, song, dac, amps, same output wasapi event,Pc,speaker. Mas pinili nya foobar. Sa  Musicbee over jriver. mas gusto ko ang musicbee, just my 5 cent. Madali lang mag stable ng j river 18. down load ka sa kick asstorrent i down load mo yong my crack, then i dis able mo yong  updater nya.Matagal ko ng gamit jriver ko since july last year. wala naman problem. pinalitan ko lang sya ng musicbee ng makita ko sa furum na ito, mas maganda ang sound ng musicbee kumpara sa j river. ako lang ito.  Thanks

Have you guys tried the updated foobar remote via android? Maganda na siya. It's user friendly.

There are no SACD drives for PCs. You'd have to get a dedicated SACD transport that may cost many times more than a dedicated player if you plan to use the DSD layer.

I am using Android Foobar2000 Controller for the pc. When I view an album, the songs are arranged alphabetically. How do I view them by tracks?
