How do i stream dts hd-ma and dolby truehd from htpc to receiver?

You can use PC softwares like TMT 5, PowerDVD and SplashPRO

May option dyan sa mga softwares na yan to bitstream HD audio through HDMI...

I have an ATI HD6450 in my HTPC. When I go to the audio settings in the Control Panel under supported formats, it only shows Dolby Digital. How can I include all of the HD Audio under Supported Formats? Any driver that I have to install?

^ i think that's driver related. experienced this with a laptop with Intel HD Graphics. when i uninstalled the HDMI Audio drivers, then had windows re-detect the device and automatically install drivers for it, it only used a generic microsoft driver. only legacy audio formats were supported.

i re-installed the latest graphics driver package from intel, then the support for HD Audio formats were restored.

edit:
check in device manager and see if the driver provider for HDMI audio device is by microsoft. if it is, try re-installing the driver package from AMD.

Yes, look for ATI HDMI Audio Device.

Older versions of CCC used to include this driver. The new ones no longer do (I wonder why).

Tried installing HDMI Audio Device but no HD Audio in supported formats. I downloaded 64bit Windows 7 driver and installed it. Wala pa rin.

nagkaproblema din ako ng ganyan sa e350 setup ko, inalis ko lang yung realtek driver and downloaded the latest ccc, lumabas na yung dtshd-ma

Doc, try uninstalling and reinstalling CCC. Was the receiver on when you turned on the PC?

Yup the receiver was on when installed the drivers. Will it matter if my current setup is a Yamaha RXV371 (DTSHD compatible receiver) with only the front speakers. Wala akong surround setup sa bedroom.

I was able to pass through HD Audio and see them on the receiver's display playing BDs on my PS3 slim.

Yes sir pero pagdating sa properties and Supported formats, Dolby Digital lang lumalabas. Wala lahat na HD audio formats.

Actually hindi naman kasi realtek drivers ang gagamitin mo na audio output kung di ang amd audio drivers. Test mo muna na wag install ang realtek and latest version na ba CCC drivers mo? Yung kasamang driver ng gpu natry mo na?

It shouldn't matter kung ilan nakakabit na speakers, since yung AVR na bahala magdownmix dun. Check mo din sa HDMI setting ng AVR doc baka naka set to Amp+TV instead of Amp. Depende kasi minsan sa AVR, some AVRs only show yung common supported formats nila ng display when set to Amp+TV.

Yup installed yung original drivers that came with the CD sa GPU. I just downloaded the latest drivers sa AMD website. Sana yun na.

You're right! Naka AMP+TV ang settings ng AVR. I'll just change it to AmP. Will update. Thanks for the patience to help.

I uninstalled ATI HDMI Audio, Windows 7 Audio and ATI Catalyst drivers. Rebooted the PC and installed only the updated ATI Catalyst Drivers and voila....

if your receiver shows it's getting DTS-HD or TrueHD, then yes, you are already hearing lossless audio.

if you can't distinguish between lossy and lossless, that's perfectly normal - most people don't. of the few who claim hear the difference, you'd be surprised to see how a significant number will fail when subjected to a blind test.

being unable to differentiate the sound between 1.5Mbps DTS core and 4Mbps + DTS-HD MA doesn't make you any less of an HT hobbyist

Difference is more noticeable in concerts rather than movies as proven in the blind test in Streetsmart's haven.

Pasingit n rin po ng tanong same concern din po kasi, depende po b sa mother board kung kaya maglabas nito ng dts audio signal? Balak ko po kasing bilhin ay gigabyte GA-H87N WIFI. Kaya din ba nitong maglabas ng dts signal? Thanks !

solution ko dito is not to use htpc at all. i just bought a media player, plug and play.
