2160p 30hz

parang nakita ko na kung bakit ganun
remux files are 3840x2160
yung 10bit hdr are 3840x1604 (pero all 10bit hdr files same resolution eh)

for 3840x2160 the black bars are encoded to the video itself so for movies with 2.35:1 aspect ration you don't see the thin effect. But if the video is cropped to 3840x1604 (or anything not 16x9 ratio). it will stretch out the video to fill the screen. Your Hi-media doesn't keep the aspect ration I noticed the same thing when playing videos thru the usb port of my TV. But when playing thru Mibox it would keep the aspect ration.

already did that for my Hisense TV and it has 3 options for aspect ratio but all 3 gives that same stretched look for anything that's not full 16:9 like 21:9 or 4:3.

sorry for the confusion, it's Anya who has problems with his himedia. I don't have a himedia but mibox I'm just relating my same problems with aspect ratio while using the usb of my hisense TV.

q5 pro running on Android 5.1.1? get your q5 pro firmware Mar 16 2017 official firmware here :

upgraded to android 7 + kodi 17.1 krypton, ok naman but if your disk is prepped by folder and scraped in kodi, ok din quick launch ang movie bar

Got the "Himedia Q10 Pro" the other day. Already Nougat out of the box, with the latest Kodi 17.6 Krypton.
Bought this box just mainly for HDR capabilities, Dolby Atmos audio pass-through, and can store large amount of UHD blu-ray files when you load 3.5" Hard Drive on top of it.

Mura ba ito? Para sa akin ang mahal nto for an Android box, kaya ko lang knuha to just for Dolby Atmos pass-through to my AVR, na hindi nagagawa doon sa mga little android boxes ko.

kaya nga atmos works , it’s all about software(firmware in this case)

i also like the build over egreat which is more expensive.

egreat is learning sw drives their sales, kaya they put in 4k playback goodies din

already got a samsung ks8000 which is 4k and HDR na, receiver is 7.2 and atmos. i already have the speakers installed. currently using xbox one x for bluray but di ko pa na explore ang media player functions niya.

question: does hi-media Q support atmos and 4k HDR?

mga master new to himedia. yung H8 plus model po ba ng himedia smooth makakapagplay ng 4k directly from hardisk? i will be using 5tb external. kasi wala akong makita na review. although sa specs nakalagay naman 4k capable. i just want to double check lang and confirm mismo sa mga nakagamit.
