Topic: Konka 4.1 Soundbar

I saw this in SM Molino. Since I am in need of speakers I decided to purchase one.

is this too old to be resurrected?

i bought one of these last december as a gift to my dad.

since im not too much an audiophile, the thing that made it my choice, in spite of it being less louder than similar offerings from other brands was a builting optical and coaxial input. Have tested only the optical in at this point in time. It accepts 2.1 channel DD from an xtreamer, when set to 5.1 DD there is no playback and its LCD display flashes "DTS" repeatedly even though it wasnt a DTS input.

This might be really an OLD post but...am hoping the two gentlemen above could give a feedback on their Konka soundbar?....Is is still working up till now?...heard it's performance, way better than the built in speaker of a flat TV..its much better in my judgement than the Toshiba soundbar ...wala nga lang eto DTS decoder.
