Nice gesture, thanks. But I tend to doubt that those "optimal calibration settings" are universal. I mean they might be optimal for your unit in your room, but not in another setup because of differences in the following:
1. Degree of ambient light.
2. Color of another room and its contents.
3. Screen size, color and gain.
4. Slight variances among the units themselves.
5. Projector distance.

Hi braders (owner of Benq 1070, 1075, 1080ST), tanong lang po, saan pwede bumili ng mga model na to ngayon and how much?

Pwede ba mag-audition sa inyo just to see the projector in action, if ok lang?

I'm currently on a hunt kasi and choosing between Acer 6510, Epson 5200 and Benq 1070+ or 1075...

Got my 1080ST from Amazon 2 yrs ago then shipped it via JAC ... Still enjoying it every single day hehe.. You can visit my IG - jcwut.. I posted some of my Movie watching moments there

Finally, it's here!!!

Though wala pang pj screen, i decided to try and test it muna on my Gray Wall and here's the result (taken from my cp camera)

Projected size: 120"
Calibration: None
Setup: default - out of the box, i just set it to Cinema and Eco Mode

Colors and details for me is superb, black level - panalo (dahil siguro sa gray/mudpie colored wall ko kaya mas na-enhance pa)
Nice deep 3D - Our Universe as sample source

I would say, di ako nagkamali sa pagpili, very happy owner here, pati si kumander napa-nganga (believer na sya ngayon hahaha)

problem ko ngayon ang pag mount nya sa ceiling, medyo challenging on my case... gypsum board kasi ang ceiling ko...pag sa wall naman, masyadong mahaba ang kailangang bracket para umabot sa projection distance from the screen...

If Cash, you can get it at SRP price 59,995 directly from Astech Pengson (Waltermart Munoz).. if Credit Card naman, you can order it from Automatic Center, Abenson, and Electroworld of course with interest.. i oredered mine thru Gigahertz SM Fairview kaso ang tagal lang nga dumating nung unit, 3 weeks...

Hi Atty., i'm using Ultimate 3D Heaven glasses, these are nice 3D glasses without any crosstalk (but i think it depends on the movie source pa rin)... These glasses are better that the benq 3D glasses which we tested when we audition the projector at Astech Pengson which they are selling for 5.5k a piece

I bought a 100" Elite Screen from Paul (Tein), the model is MAXWHITE and it's a Manual Pulldown since bihira ko naman sya ifo-fold

The w1070+ works well with this screen, and i'm very satisfied with this combo... I'll post pics when i have time

Also calibrate your PJ kong may screen ka na. Use Disney Wow or Spears & Munsil.

Smart Eco mode

No Calibration pa but i'll try the Spears & Munsil, wala kasi akong Disney WOW e

I haven't seen HD28 DSE in action.. based on the Darbee embeded in it, this should be better that W1070+, i am not just sure if the difference will be night and day..

I tried calibrating my 1070+ with Spears and Munsil but to my surprise, all calibration are almost exactly the same with S&M recommended setup... Out of the box, the 1070+ doesn't need calbration anymore

...about Darbee, i want to try using a Darbee on my 1070+, curious lang kung ano kalalabasan... anyone who's willing to lend their darbee just for a couple of hours?
