How to copy dvd files to HDD
« on: Apr 27, 2013 at 08:07 PM »
Hi, i just bought a DVD of the G3 concert in Tokyo, since i still do not have advd player, i tried to rip or copy the file to an HDD and play it using my media player.

But when i tried to play it, nagsta-stutter yung video, is it a sign of a copy protected dvd? I just did a straight copy-paste of the 2 folders to my HDD- Audio TS and Video TS folders. When i play it- narerecognize ng media player and even asks me if  i want full menu.

thanks!
Francis

What if you use na lang your PC or laptop to play the dvd instead of ripping it?

You can also use Nero to copy the DVD to ISO.   ;)

I've used AppGeeker in the past to convert DVD files to all known file format on your HDD.

http://www.appgeeker.com/convert/rip-dvd-to-avi-mac.html

It is simple to use.

What's the difference if you rip and just copy/paste it. I tried the latter for NMT use and it works ang laki nga lang file umaabot ng 10G.

Sorry sa OT will an external DVD ROM work and play movies when plugged to the NMT.
