Guys, yun media player pwede din maging audio player then naka pasok sa DAC, via RCA or Balance connector? and pano nilalagyan ng music Itunes din ba?...sorry sa pagka Jurassic ko...

You can load your music in the HDD (internal or external) of the NMT. Cut & copy lang bro parang PC. Para siyang Olive music player. Then you can connect the NMT via coax or toslink (SPDIF) sa iyong external DAC. Most media players don't have balanced outputs. Kung gagamitin mo ang RCA, you will be using the internal DAC of the media player but knowing your ears, baka hindi mo ma-appreciate.

Correct si Nelson on all points. Just to add from my research on this:

I selected yung Mede8er MED1000X3D for several factors:
- No fan so very silent
- You can store all your music files in an internal hard disk or a network drive like WD MyBookWorld (so shared with other X3D players in the house)
- Various music file formats although I prefer FLAC since it doesn't work with Apple Lossless
- Can play 24-bit 192khz files, i.e. HDtracks.com
- Supports 4TB internal drive so I'm sure kasya buong CD collection mo
- Has an optional iPad/iPhone app that serves as your remote and jukebox player
- HDMI, Coax and Optical outputs
- Bonus that it has various internet streaming video and audio services
- And I can move it to my home theater setup and use it as a video player na rin!!!

Sulit siya so far for P6,500 (800X3D) or P7,500 (1000X3D)

JjohnC, you can use the Oppo as a media player. Just plug the USB drive with your music files on the Oppo and connect to you DAC through COAX, Optical, or even balanced connector(105). The Oppo plays all the formats so far. If you do not want to turn on your TV you can use your iphone or ipad as the remote control just download the Oppo media from the Oppo site.

Kamusta naman tunog baka naman sobrang nipis na....ang mga CD nga manipis na compare sa vinyl...

Put in an iFi iTube between the dac and the preamp ..... kakapal ang tunog

John, I do not find the sound of CDs Ripped to FLAC and played on the Oppo manipis when used with the right DAC and the right ICs.
