J.J. Abrams, Brian Burk, J.H. Wyman and other producers who have worked on Fringe, Person of Interest, and Alcatraz are developing a new series for FOX called Human, with Karl Urban as the lead character.

Urban plays John Kennex, a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers and left him critically injured. Kennex is then teamed up with a law enforcement robot cop named Dorian, played by Michael Ealy.

Other cast members include Lili Taylor, Minka Kelly, Mackenzie Crook, and Michael Irby.

A pretty solid pilot episode for me. It's nothing new really. There's a scene early on that reminded me of Blade Runner. There's enough action and the story arc seems intriguing enough. And Minka Kelly's in it.

Episode 2 will be out tomorrow. The succeeding episodes will also air on Mondays (Tuesdays here).

Finally... something to fill the void left by "Fringe" among sci-fi geeks.
Kudos to J.H. Wyman for another sure-fire hit.

boredfilmaker is right, there is a lot of reference to Blade Runner with updated version regarding to "techs".

has a very solid first 2-episode with a story arc to be followed monster-of-the-week format.

surely it will gain a lot of fan-base in time to come...

this is a good series to look forward to ...dropping sleepy hollow, marvel and hostages for this one

First two episodes were great! Intro was like Robocop, after that, Blade Runner, then Terminator. Will drop Sleepy Hollow for this.

Started watching ep1. Yun first scene sa station, i though Fitz & Simmons from SHIELD have matured and have now moved on as police officers in 2048.

Dropped this after watching two episodes. For me, parang pilit yung chemistry.

Mas ok sana kung Judge Dredd TV series starring Karl Urban na lang.

Try to watch some more episodes. The chemistry improves tremendously towards the series finale. So 2 episodes are not enough.
