retail po sa branded big tvs sa china mas mahal yata kesa satin... kahit they are made in china... rich there kasi are ultra rich... siguro factory owners...

i checked out sa samsung store nila yung... samsung window cover for S4.. 500rmb = 3500php.. eh.. 1600 lang dito yun e... hehe

this is the sony 4k 65" 4k 169,999rmb
beside is a 1080p 55" curved panel sony tv

this is a 4k skyworth 39" 4,829rmb

skyworth 4k 42" 6,299rmb

65" skyworth both 4k has 2 variants.. i do not know what the difference is

65E810U 20,999rmb

1rmb = around 7php

madami po dun units... na wala sa sa atin kahit sa us.. specially on their sharp tvs... they have sharp tvs.. with built in windows.. nakalagay pa sticker powered by lenovo... with stainless frame.. hinanap ko po sa amazon.. wala po... sleekier looking than the 70 80 in sharps we see sa amazon... slimmer bezels din...

madami pa ibang brand na 4k.. di ko lang nakunan ng pictures

i think may display po ng TCL but.. kung tama alala ko. wala sila display na malaki puros 20s to 30s and no 4k.

noon pinagtatalunan 720p vs 1080p.. if its noticable.. hehe

1080p vs 4k.. it will even be harder to notice.. specially at smaller sizes.. unless gawing... monitor..

Question lang guys, will a 4K movie file play as it should in a Non-Ultra HD TV? What will be the effect? will i feel that im really watching a 4K movie or it's like watching a 1080p movie on a 1080p panel (not ultra HD)?

lol malamang malinaw kasi malayo. kahit manuod ka ng dvd sa malayo malinaw. you would not be able to distinguish the difference ng 1080p sa 4k kung ganun kalayo unless you have superman eyes. hehe.

I tried some 4K samplers before and the tv would only display "unsupported".

There is a perceived sharpness and increase in detail as long as your display has a very good upscaler/upconverter. Sony does a very nice job in doing that. If you want to quantify it, I would say a 50% better picture than 1080p. Can't wait for REAL 4k content with my upcoming media player!

I read some posts here in pdvd from members who bought the LG UB850T. Dun sa mga nakabili, is the PQ really superior compared to FHD, considering na 1080 and mga material na gamit? Nakakaenganyo kasi ang 69.9K na price sa SM. Napansin ko lang when playing the same material with an FHD na katabi sa display, parang mas fine ang picture ng UHD, but that is under store conditions. How about sa home condition?

THe reason I'm asking is that I'm torn between getting the 49UB850T or a 55" or 60" FHD 3D unit. Viewing distance is about 2-3 meters.

I agree na mas mura sa member-sellers. Yun lang, I would have to spend also for the freight to Davao, and baka may concerns sa warranty/repairs kung sakaling magkadiperensya ang unit. Sana may mas mura dito compared to SM Davao.

The seller from olx gave me the price of 70k for the 55 inch TCL UHD TV with skype camera. Really tempting. Add 10k daw and I get a 40 inch TCL smart tv.

Anyone bought the UHD TV from TCL yet? Wanted to know how it fares with input lag when playing games.

I was able to talk to one of the sellers in olx. You still buy the TV from Ansons. It seems that they will just get a commission from the sale.

Try mo e-reply / voltz5 / akong_man sa pdvd marketplace, you can ask them to price-match the one you saw at OLX

As a gamer, i did a little research on this. Apparently di pala maganda ang current models of 4k tvs for gaming. Even on game mode. The upscaling of graphics to 4k causes noticeable input lag. Pass muna for this year and maybe next until they fix this.
