Carrying items from US
« on: Jun 15, 2013 at 12:52 PM »

Probably not if it's just one unit. What will catch their attention is when they will see two or more units by the same traveller. It's really random when they ask travellers to open their luggage. Not sure what is their criteria in flagging down people for further inspection but then again, I don't think 1 unit will be an issue.

Just make sure na hindi takaw pansin and they shouldn't have any problem.

Kung sakaling masita, declare it used. Solb!  ;)

Several times na din ako nag-uwi ng laptop and even an amp once.

Maganda gawin yung electronic bitbitin without box tapos pag may balikbayan box na papadala via cargo ship dun mo lagay mga box and styro. Better nga na wala box.

I don't think na mahaharang yan, i've brought in more expensive and bigger items, wala namang issue.

yes sir ... brought in Bose Companion 2 speakers and Nintendo Wii last year, and another Bose Companion2 last May ... i actually just have those on a large plastic bag and almost in plain sight pero di naman pinansin

yung Companion2 speakers are small, but the box is around twice that of Nintendo Wii

just act normally when you pass by the customs officer... unless commercial quantity, it should really not be an issue.

of course, it helps a lot that it is no longer in the original packaging...
