Onkyo 818 is warm almost dark but with good attack.
When paired with bright and dynamic Tubes like the NOS Mullard 12AX7 it will be audio nirvana. :-)

Will this not result into too bright bro since im using rtia3 which some may find bright...

That is the beauty of tube rolling Dollarman. You can change the tubes to suit the flavor that you want. Is your system too bright now? I need to check the tubes installed on the ProJect. I can't remember na e. Nasa office.

Sige. Iwan ko Kay Rene next week. Pero I doubt if adjustable. Unless you open it, which I have not done.

Onkyo 818 Warm + RTIA3 Bright = Neutral/Balanced
If you find the System too bright with the stock tubes of the Project then Sylvania 12AX7 has proven to be neutral. As master dodie has stated:

That is the beauty of a Tube system. Trial and Error but the experience is a priceless adventure.

I think his backlog is November 2012 as per his last text.
For Tubes my mentor is John Poscable aka Juanbote... impressive selection of tubes.

Plan ko sana bro is to use the project + yaqin amp to rtia3s. The yaqin paired with the rtia3 sounds better than with the 818 so im looking forward bro karl's project...
