hi.
im a newbie here.
id like to ask lang po sa mga members here:

"meron po bang player na bluray and dvd sya na nagpplay din ng movies na nakasave as file sa hard drive (external or internal)"?

naghahanap po kasi ako for my new tv.

Most blueray player that has usb slot can play hd video files in most formats/codec.

DVD players can usually play sd file format.

I have a LG BP325 3D blu ray player. It plays all sorts of video file formats that I throw at it including 3D mkv. It even plays the files that won't play in my dedicated media player. Tested it with 1TB HD and it works flawlessly. I was originally planning on buying a separate media player that plays 3D movies to match my new TV but decided not to get one anymore as this player already does the job. To top it all it only costs less than P5,000.00 which is cheaper than most budget media players not to mention those that plays BD's and are 3D capable.

On the down side it has very limited connection but hey if you have a 3D ready HDMI receiver you only need the HDMI connection and your good to go.

meaning...
i must buy one bluray player that can read 1 terrabyte of hdmovies, thats important to me, more practical than most media players (nas) because most media players has no optical disc drive inside. it only reads hard drive.

a bluray(that reads dvd and cds) that can play thru usb connection of 1 terra hd movies (hard drive).

Yes sir but depending on the file. If the file has an embedded subtitle then it will show or if it has a separate srt or other sub title format file.

One more thing this player also plays mkv files burned on a dvd disc.

Never had the opportunity to test it since my 2TB HD is installed inside my Measy media player. Planning to test it next weekend I'll let you know sir.

I also have this bd. Maliit kaya nagustuhan ko haha. Problem is it cant play iso files. So i still use my wd media player. I will try and test my 3tb later and see if it reads it.

I got mine for 80sgd so around 2.6k lang

3tb 3.5" does not work and it wont detect it. But the 2 tb 2.5" works fine.

there are 2 other alternatives: the Soniq BD player that sells for P2.5k (tested to 2tb) and the Audiosonic 3D BD player that sells for P2.8k (tested up to 2tb).
