My Living Room Audio Set-up :)

Just sharing my humble audio set-up :)  Ang aking palaging karamay kasama ni Johnnie at ni Jack :)

Speakers : Epos Epic 2
                 Yamaha NS-470
                 Epos ELS-303 (not in photo)
                 B&W 2001 relegated to speaker stand duties while I wait for my wooden stands :)

Amplifier : Cayin A50T
                Yamaha CA-1000
                Victor MCM-105

Preamplifier : AMX (I don't know the exact model, my ninong just gave it to me :) )

Source : Marantz CD6003
             Technics SL 5300

Haven't tried 'em out yet with the CA-1000.  Will let you know once I've done so :)

I like the Epos Epic 2 very much. It really is eye candy. I had a listen at Hyperaudio. But understandably it strained with my 3.5w 2a3 amp at medium levels. However I heard enough to know these were very good speakers. Very engaging. I am used to a full range speaker and the Epic 2 was impressively very focused and had very good tonal balance. Bass was sufficient to carry the image should you integrate with a sub. The highs were very delicate and really pleased me since I am not used to tweeters. It was very hard to sound sibilant with these speakers. If this is British sound, then I should talk with a British accent.

Indeed, the mids and highs of the Epic 2's are very nice.  I fell in love with these speakers the first time I tried them out. :)  I also find Epos speakers to have excellent imaging, for my ears at least.

Haha!  +1 on the British accent! :)
