Oversaturated ba yung colors pag non-HDR yung content na pinapanood sa OLED UHD HDR TV?

If it is properly calibrated, no.

there aren't 3D BluRay in 4K released yet, more so in HDR...

but I have a 4K HDR 3D (55UH8500), let me try to set 2D to 3D one of my HDR movies.  hmmm could we expect some additional wow factor, kaya?
There is no standard for 3D for 4K blu ray.

That's one reason why I didnt buying a 4K with 3D was pointless.

Nice! So I can use my X-Rite i1Display Pro with an OLED TV hooked up to a laptop?

Are OLED panels still pagued with image burn-in like plasmas? I remember my Super AMOLED phone having it. I also read some comments on the internet forums that the useful lifespan of OLED panels are only 4-5 years. Is there any truth to that claim?

I'm thinking of buying an LG OLED TV, btw.

^ jump over now to the LG B6P Club you won't regret it the viewing experience is astonishing, LG has built in Screensaver mode to avoid potential burn ins if there is one, but to my experience none. You are Mr. Bungle on TPC right? My handle there is adonis_gm

You should be able to use that tool.

Burn-in rate had been reduced significantly because LG included a separate white subpixel to take some heavy lifting away from the R, G and B subpixels. This improves panel life in exchange for reduced peak saturation.

Yes sir, that's me.

Interesting. Thanks!

I'll do a bit more research particularly on UHD HDR content availability before I decide to pull the trigger. I've already been burned (no pun intended) a few times by being an early adopter before.

QLEDs are out!

Early reviews aren't favorable:
https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2017/04/tv-tech-showdown-samsung-qled-vs-lg-oled/

Here's a review of the Q9...
http://www.techradar.com/reviews/samsung-q9-qled-tv

It is clearly a match for the Sony ZD9, making it an LCD flagship. Better color reproduction, detail and contrast than the ZD9, but with fewer local dimming regions.

I just want to share this useful 2nd mini controller.

Iwas nadin sa wear and tear ng main controller.  This came with the unit, but I think you could buy it separate.

Where to buy 65c7?

Abenson's has the 2017 C7 series already. but you're probably better off buying from Anson's or one of those sellers in OLX.

Any word from LG Philippines kung kelan release date ng:
-LG Signature G7 OLED
&
-LG Signature W7 OLED

Hindi pwede na hanggang E6/E7 lang ang top-of-the-line for the Philippine market..........when every other company has launched flagships for their respective brands:
-Sharp Philippines (LC-80XU930X 80 inch "8K" TV)
-Sony Philippines (Bravia Z9D/ZD9 in 75 inch and 100 inch variants)
-Samsung Philippines (QLED Q7F and Q8C........with Q9F to follow in Q4 2018)
-Panasonic Philippines (65 inch OLED TV Philippine launch last week)

LG Philippines, please take note.....

For people with relatives near a fry's store in the US ...  Here is a very good deal .. MY brother bought his 65C7  the other week and got a rebate to match this offer ..

LG OLED 65C7P $2,296.99 with promo, in store only at FRY's, B&M
Posted Yesterday by mizdared at 01:54 PM
Products Linked: http://frys.com/search?search_typ...mail070217

Fry's weekly AD has the 65 inch one at 3,296.99, but when you go in the store, the sales associate can take another thousand dollars off of it, making it $2,296.99. I believe you can take $1000 off the 55 inch as well and that will be $1300. I purchased this deal and saved the receipts to confirm. Another customer bought the same TV at the same price right behind me. If they don't have the TV in stock they will write the order and you pay and they will give you free delivery.

Sorry I am new to this if I missed anything, just trying to pass the deal along.
