I purchase mine for 30,597 at Abensons Glorietta, and got a free delivery promo ... other members were able to purchase the unit for 30,200+ ... warranty is 2 years

Nothing beats a peace of mind of a proper warranty. Learned from experience, have it at least 2 year warranty, 3 year warranty would be best.

sir tanong ko lang. kabibili ko lang nito,1st time ko kasing nag plasma e. previously on LED, ano po mga 1st thing na gagawin ko para maiwasan ang burn in ba tawag dun, ung naiiwan ung image. sorry noob.

Im still in a quandary right now. I have a 32" JVC LED. a 42" panny plasma and now want to get a 50". Was first thinking of getting a Devant, Skyworth, hisense, or Haier LED but now thinking about this....still cant make up my mind

Avoid static images for the first 100 hours or so. So zoom in TV broadcasts para mawala yung station ID. Zoom in letterboxed movies para mawala yung black bars. And avoid gaming first particularly those games with static images (like status bars).

Some people also recommend putting settings on mild first.

Of course, some people will also say none of this is necessary.

I would say the difference probably translates to less than 100 pesos a month for 6 hours a day of regular viewing. Note that I am not an electrical engineer and that I'm just guesstimating.

I did some research on the web. This website has a calculator for power comparison and electricity cost comparison:

I've also read an article that says the average cost of electricity in the Philippines in 2013 is 24 US cents per kilowatt.

Using the calculator from the first link, I compared 51" LED TV to 51" plasma TV, 6 hours of usage a day, at 24 US cents per kilowatt.

The result:
51" LED TV
Power Consumption - 60 watts
Yearly Electricity Cost - $31.54 or P1,419.30

51" Plasma TV
Power Consumption - 114 watts
Yearly Electricity Cost - $59.93 or 2,696.85

Difference of P1,277.55 per year or P106.46 per month.

that's the same tv that i replaced with this Samsung TV ... this one is much better, and bigger ... good upgrade

well if you ask me..maliit 51" sa 10'..pero syempre kung ano lang kaya ng bulsa natin sir ang choices..the bigger the better..using 51" at 6'-7' viewing distance..sakto lng..parang bitin pa nga lol

the bigger the better, we have the same viewing distance ... when i first installed the Pana 42PV8 it seemed huge coming from 29-inch CRT, after a few years naliitan na ako ... was hoping for a 55 or 60-inch by the time na replace ko yung 42PV8, but this deal is too good to pass ... enjoying it so far, but as sir Disturbed mentioned, the bigger the better - consideration talaga is if you have more money to burn

If you're replacing a 42", then you should be fine.

If you want to be truly adherent to TV sizes vis a vis viewing distance, then 65" would be best for 1080p video at 10 feet. For 720p, 50 inches at 10 feet will do. Note that viewing angles may also be a factor.
