I saw one at Abenson's Puregold Araneta Avenue. It was going for 28k if I remember correctly. Not sure if it's a display unit though.

Guys, I'm having interference/artifacts with my Sky Cable digibox. The digibox is the HD version. It is totally unusable when watching HD channels. Any opinions on what's causing the issue? I'm sure its not the cable connection since this didn't happen on my other TVs using the same outlet - just my plasma. Thanks in advance.

i believe samsung gives 2 years warranty coverage for its led tvs and 1 year for plasma... please verify with samsung phils.. i may be wrong...

report mo agad pre. same issue sa 1 yr old f8500 ko. vertical line din
samsung just replace the panel. just check the mrt. 0 talaga
gulat nga ako may pyesa pa pala.

wait. yung MRT ba nasa panel? When you change the panel balik 0 or nareset lang after ichange ang panel?

I don't know how tv workings are, pero kung ikukumpara ko sa sasakyan, di ba nasa ECU ang info nun?

We have a 51F5000. Anybody hear experiencing sudden increase in volume while watching, hanggang 100 lvl ng volume? This has happened to our unit a number of times. Parang sumpong lang sya, not all the time nangyayari. Ano kaya issue ng TV?

My 51F5000 conked out after a sudden pop (like a small balloon blowing up). No video but you can still hear the audio.

Called the toll-free number and got scheduled for a service visit either tomorrow or Wednesday.

The Samsung guys looked at the internals and mentioned the panel needs to be replaced. Saying that it's probably leaking gas. Need to wait another couple of days.

Too bad about the TV.

Replace panel kasi leaking plasma gas, ewan ko lang, parang duda ako sa diagnosis. Pero sana tama sila.

Pop sound then no picture is usually a blown capacitor. Hindi sila nagpapalit ng capacitor lang, so, replace board usually.

My thoughts exactly. Leaking plasma gas would not cause the pop.

I had a flawless panel, too. At least, I thought I did.

Got the panel replaced; very happy that there were no dead pixels. Btw, it *seems* the panel I got looked a bit different, in some cases better than the old one. Will try to recalibrate this weekend with the good old Spears and Munsil BD.

Btw, after doing mute 737 enter, mains running time is at 118 hours. The Samsung guy said this was what was saved on the board but that the panel is brand new. The tech asked if I wanted a system reset but I said no.
