hi guys - where can I find the firmware upgrade for this player? Just bought a new LED tv and connected this player via HDMI, no display!!!

I found it, thanks sir. Will try this over the weekend. For now I've connected the dvd player via component cables...If it doesnt work then I think I need to buy a new dvd player... :-(

Check mo din muna kung gumagana yung hdmi output nung pioneer. Been using this unit for audio before pero recently biglang nawalan ng power.

Yup... the first time I connected hdmi from the dvd player to the display, gumana naman.. After a moment nawala naman. I changed hdmi cables, ayaw pa rin magdisplay

have you tried a hard reset? by holding back button then power it on.

I did try that, once, when I accidentally setup the dvd player to output 1080P (the display is only 720p).
Let me try that again when I get home later... Thanks!

Okay, so I was able to reset my dv600 last night.
Tried again the HDMI connection - it worked 
Configured dv600 to output 720p HDMI. Tested a dvd.. After about roughly 5 minutes the display blacked out again.. No signal

Yes... No signal talaga.

nagvisual ka na ba sa loob?

parang wala sa firmware ang problem since sabi no nagkaron sya then after 5 minutes nawala, then reset then ulit wala talaga. it means pag mainit na unit.

somewhere sa loob may problem dyan sir. mukhang bumibitaw ang power ng HDMI.

try mo ulit sir ireset ulit na malamig pa ang unit, then wag nyo munang galawin ang settings. magplay lang po kayo ng kahit ano if ganon pa din.

Yes, it was in the Initial Settings stage where I adjusted the HDMI resolution.
I haven't opened my dv600 since the day I bought it, Ron

I think I may have found the culprit.
So, I bought a new dvd player (waste of money) thinking the fault was with my dv600. I successfully connected the player to my tv, setup the connection. HDMI was working. This morning, turned on the tv, then turned on the dvd player... NO HDMI display 
Did a bit of searcdhing on the web regarding this issue. The problem may be due to HDMI handshake.
Will try again later tonight. Based on what I've read on the web, turn on the dvd player first then turn the tv on.. Oh well.. 
Didn't want to 'retire' my dv600.. If this turns out to solve the issue then I have another Pioneer dvd player sitting around..
