yes, 200 watt mono blocks need plate power supply capacity of 800 watts, filaments about 50 watts, easily 1kw for just one channel....if the voltages will not scare you, maybe the electricity bill will:D

but the biggest challenge for any diy'er is the output transformer as insulation requirements are entirely different...

initial impression on this pre amp after an hour of listening....ayos!!! still on burning stage pero buhay na buhay ang sq very engaging... ang sarap pumikit at namnamin ang tunog parang chami sa delicious restaurant sa binondo habang tumatagal sumasarap he he!!! Another excellent masterpiece! Keep it coming master... Pati byenan ko pumasok dito sa listenimg room at nakinig din he he!!!
