Updates on hold for a little while, Globes internet has been down since Saturday but no estimate on the repair date. I will update once I have internet back.

Hi guys, I'm back, for how long I don't know but fingers crossed. Work going smoothly so do a daily update.
July 23, no work was scheduled for the day so left my camera at home. Taken by surprise, the guys were cracking on when I arrived so no photos of the bulkhead/soffit in progress.
Flexible conduits for the lighting clipped to the walls & sealant used to prevent any rattles before Rockwool filling & fitting of bulkhead fascia.
23 - 31st the decorators resin filled all screw holes & joints & sanded in preparation for painting.

Flexible conduits secured.

Rear left.

Rear right.

Front left.

Resin filling.

Ceiling & half of the bulkhead primed, wall & ceiling defects filled.
Door frame & doors delivered.

Front & right walls.

All speaker bracket mounting holes drilled.
Bulkhead priming complete.
All fillings sanded & re primed.

Aug 5th.
There will be 2 doors into the HT room leaving a 12" cavity between them. Both doors are 42mm thick & made up of 2 sheets of 15mm Mahogany & the 12mm cavity sand filled.

Test panel for me to approve the colour.

1st top coat being applied to the walls.

Outer door fitted.

Inner door in the process of being stained.

Aug 7th.

I can now see the finishing line, the decorators will be finished on Sunday & the carpet is scheduled to be laid on Monday so keeping my fingers crossed.
The 1st top coat on the walls & bulkhead facia complete, 2nd top coat on the ceiling & soffit applied.

All up to date guys.
The base board is being fitted today so will be painted over the weekend.
Haven't been on site today as it's my birthday & I've been preparing for tonight's celebration. Managed to update the thread while the wife is collecting some of the food.
