Monday Aug. 18th.

Soffit lights fitted & tested, daylight on the front & all others warm white. I may have to change the fronts as it makes the wall a little pink. Original thought was to have the brightest light at the front for working on the equipment but I'll have do a bit of testing as it doesn' look quite right.
Apologies for the quality of the photos, I'll have to use a tripod when not using the flash.

Lights fitted.

Latest addition - finally, Anti-Mode 2.0 Dual core.
Can't wait to get back & start setting up the gears.

I've no idea what that is for, since I can only recognize "USB DAC", but it looks impressive. So I will just say wow!

Hi toyfactor, yes it's a nice piece of kit & used mainly to counteract room resonances. It can be used as a high quality DAC & pre amp but I will use for room correction only. It can store 4 separate profiles each one is user adjustable so it is possible to have 4 listening positions or have different profiles for audio listening & film watching. It also has a wide area optimization for a larger sweet spot & has a small screen to show the room response after calibration.
What it shouldn't be used for is trying to correct destructive reflection nulls.
I'm still reading the manual to find out what features I will use.  ;D

Hi tonedeaf, it's a DAC, a pre amp & room correction device. My single channel unit that looks after my HT subwoofer works very well so I have high hopes for this unit on my audio system.  ;D

Having decided to try DIY power leads I have elected to use UK 3 pin plugs as they are fusible & will probably order the Weiduka AC8.8 power strip from sir Obet.

Hey OBR! Let us know if there are latency issues (analog to digital & back to analog) with regards to the anti-mode.

Will do Nelson. I shall be using analog (balanced in & outs) as I already have an on board DAC in my CD player.

Hi guys, holiday over now back to the serious stuff.
Equipment consul has been installed, not too happy with the build so I've called my supplier back in to sort it out. Air con. unit will be fitted today but still waiting for the grille that will cover it. Photos will be difficult over the next few days as quite a few items have been moved back into the room so difficult to get some decent shots. Also the carpet is now quite dirty so not very happy about that. I'll get the A/C install out of the way & then have a good clean up before I start transferring the gears.
As they say, watch this space   ;)
