AVR(AUto Voltage Regulator) - Repair Shop/Technician
« on: Oct 25, 2013 at 12:13 PM »
Hi guys,

Just wanted to ask if may marerecommend kayong pedeng magrepair ng voltage regulator? Medyo low kasi ang output nya as rated.

Thanks in advance!

+1 Need ko rin nang mag repair nang AVR ko, although more cosmetic yung problem.  Sira na yung mismong outlets nang Yaden ko, nabunot na rin from the metal casing.  Although still working, pangit lang kasi tignan.

anong type yung regulator mo? Kung yung may wiper sa loob (variac type), there's usually a potentiometer sa loob you can adjust.
Kung yung fixed relay type yung AVR mo, then you should check your input din kung mababa rin ba talaga.

Same question about a 10 year old Omni AVR. buzzing sound sya intermittent. Maingay sya. Dati parang servo motor naririnig. Ngayon buzzing nalang.

Meron ba gumagawa nito and saan? Salamat.

Buzzing noise could be coming from the motor trying to rotate but hampered by stuck gears. Try mo lubricate yung gears then manually force the servo wiper to rotate. AVR unplugged of course.

Salamat sir Markcrenz!  Try ko gawin mamaya.  Baka nga WD40 lang katapat nito.
