^ no idea sa pricing brader, need to email their sales for pricing daw. I like the enclosure, seems like Alpair 10.3M yung mids, yung highs parang bagong driver.

Diba extended na yung 10.3M?  Why the need for a HF driver pa.......

The stands seems to be an integral part of the speaker baffle ...... tama ba?

Ang daming experts na kasama sa pag design ng speaker na ito ah......

It might be a different driver altogether as they call them Sota 11 & Sota 5 but I think the mid-woofer is a rebranded 10.3M. They added a dedicated driver for the highs para maiwasan yung peaks & valleys sa HF region, dun kasi nagsisimula ang cone break-up.

EDIT: integrated nga ang stands, nandun ang crossovers  ;)

Regarding stands, i don't know if it's packaged but might be an optional purchase. Added for those looking for aesthetic synergy or higher WAF.

Sabi nung nagvi-video: "You guys have nice, big, clear sound"

He also said upon learning those are full range drivers: "That's why it's so coherent"  ;)

Sir deist,

Yung woofer mukha ngang 10.3, pero yung tweeters ba ilang inches diameter?
Hindi ba rebranded Alpair 7 ang tweets?

The Alpair 10 series is 6.5in, looking at the tweeters na ginamit nila mukhang 3-3.5in. Alpair 7 is 4in. I'm guessing bagong iteration ng Alpair 6M

I think this Alpair 5 Gen 2 is what they used in Viotti One to handle the high frequencies:

So we are now dealing with 2 companies here ...... Mark Audio for the drivers and Mark Audio SOTA for the commercial hi-end built speakers.

Haaaayz .... If we can only build as fast as the new models arrive.....

Sinabi mo pa brader!  :D

my goal next year is to build 2 sets of speakers, a pair of desktops/BS for computer & FS, my 10P in Pensils will be delegated for HT. This year, I have to finish my fanless PC project (Streacom case on its way, yahoo!) & tube amp.

None that I know of, sila Dave & Chris pa rin source ko ng bagong updates. Marami na rin nakaka-miss sa MA updates in diyAudio. Ngayon nila nararamdaman backlash ng kalokohan nila hehe

Na-intriga ako sa spider-less design brader. What's good about MA is hindi kamahalan ang drivers, @ $200 for a pair of 10 series you can upgrade kahit yearly  ;D

Will do brader, system mo nga ang inspiration ko for this build  ^-^ I plan to take this slowly. With incremental hardware upgrades in the near future para hindi agad magsawa. My first goal is to build a dedicated pc for music without any moving internal parts  ;)

What is the practical advantage of spider-less drivers ba? Hula ko is for speed, accuracy and detail, at the expense of decreased low frequency extension/xmax. Tama ba?

The spider is necessary to keep the voice coil aligned and acts like a spring when the cone is in motion. But it is a source of distortion due to backwaves from the cone movement/excursion. Removing the spider in the design will help eliminate distortion thus a more linear sound  ;)
