Desktop boxes ko nga virgin pa ang screw holes. I wanted the screws to go in just one time he he. Eh alam mo naman ang DIY. It's never finished.

Initially to control the backwaves from the driver inside the box. Effects supposedly is clearer mids and tighter lows. We'll soon find out kapag natapos na ang box ni Timber.

Joey, the plywood source said they have no plans at this time to import 3/4" plywood. Consider using what is available which is 1" thick.... Super solid and super heavy as well.
Doesn't really look bulky naman.... Eto sample cabinet for the boss, lalagyan ng server ng opis nila.

Ako I'll go with 1" over 3/4 and just adjust the box external dimensions accordingly. Importante naman is the internal dimension which is the "tuning" of the box.

The function will be more of "dampening" the back pressure from the cone's movement

Acoustic foam should be absorbing 500hz up. This should minimize comb filtering due to direct and secondary reflections (sides, top and bottom). Applied on the back, it should absorb direct sound and reflected sound off the sides, top and bottom. Applied on sides, top and bottom too, should result in more absorption. But it displaces box volume.

For MA drivers, my experience and the community's recommendation is to provide at the top, sides (at speaker cone area only) and at the back panel (also at the speaker cone area only). The rest of the volume space will be provided with loose fiber fill to tune the sound output depending on the quantity/density.
