Author Topic: Epson 2030 "budget" home theater projector (Read 8695 times)

Keystone correction might have some image distortion or artifacts on the corrected side of the picture. That's why lens shift is still better. Better yet if you plan to buy this projector, hold off buying the screen right away until you have installed the projector and then measure what screen size would be ideal for the installed PJ then adjust accordingly.

placement was ok. kaso coming from an Acer 5360 which did not have lens shift I wouldnt know how that works. the same place where i mounted the old pj produced a much bigger image than my old 90" screen. Now I don't know if i'll move it or get a bigger screen.

unless ok lang ang viewing distance mo, ok din mag upgrade to a bigger screen pero kung mapagod naman mga mata nyo then stick with 90" and adjust the PJ's location, mas matipid pa. be praktikal,

yup I'm thinking of that too... pero itch of going bigger is there... probably in the near future.

i have the same pj(newly acquired)..not yet installed for im still eyeing for a good but not pricey screen. budget price din. ubos na nung new year eh

backlit ba remote mo sir? I read somewhere na feature niya to. but cant seem to find how to make it work

It has good black levels out of the box. Better if you calibrate it. 3D is great as well.

hello po sa mga tw5200/2030 owners... tanong ko lang po kung whats the best screen size for this pj... yung bright pa ang pictures nya even in a room with ambient lighting o kaya kung sa living room lang sya ilalagay and with curtains naman po yng windows but not as dark as a dedicated ht room.

Throw distance and viewing distance is not a factor kasi may sapat na space naman po. May nabasa po kasi ako sa net na may sweet spot lang po mga pjs. May maximum screen lang po na maganda pa ang projected image nya. Kasi pag malayo na raw ang placement ng pj to project a larger image, na lessen na raw ang brightness nya as projected sa screen. Tama po ba to? Sorry at newbie lang po.

that will depend on your room and wall's size. I have a 70x70 (99" diagonal) and a 108" diagonal screen. the 70" barely fits my bedroom, while the 108" only fits in our living room.

Im using a 92" DIY white. I tried gray before though my improvements sa blacks but the colors were toned down. Sa living room with some ambient light so i switched back to white.

it costs +/- 50k at local AV stores. try to ask for discounts from different sellers.
