I have both. All I can say is, matching (sound and design) silang dalawa right out of the box. I got both, in white. Kinda flabby yun bass ng S8. Di sya ganun ka tight.
Pero ok naman for me. :)

the A5 is a bit bassy, but still sounds good. skip the S8. there are better subs out there.  :)

DTNS, thanks ! is it a good idea to get this for a Simple TT setup instead of going for a separate amp and a wharfedale denton or alpha b1 ?

I'd go for separates if I were you. the A5+ is better for a computer audio setup. :)

wanted the A5+ , cause it compliments my turntable color (white) if it can provide enough details and bass pwede na siguro heheh

anyway, i'm not sure whether id need an additional phono preamp if i go with it. i'll audition na rin muna to be sure. if not id go with the cheaper option of having separates

Audition what you like best. My A5+ and S8 is still great. :)
What's great is its sound doesn't crap out at max volume.

ganda talaga audioenegine, medyo pricey lang though minsan nag sale ang dexterton, I think a month or two back nag sale sila ng previous models and it was sold out agad (stock ng sale items)

For powered speakers, I will get the KRK Rokit 5 or Rokit 6 Gen 3. Great for EDM! My youngest has the Rokit 5 Gen 3 for home DJing.
