For all of you guys who are serious into digital source, this Geek Pulse could be one of the best value high definition dac in the market which is made by one of the manufacturers of one of the best dac in town - Da Vinci Dac. They have trickled down Da Vinci Dac's technology into the Geek Pulse and made it affordable.

It is supporting the following format:
Native PCM Decoding - 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8, & 384 kHz / 16, 24, 32 bit
Native DSD Decoding - 2.822, 3.072, 5.644, 6.144 MHz / 1 bit

Here's the link showing the features of Geek Pulse and watch the video from Gavin explaining what Geek Pulse is:

I have backed them already and reserved a Geek Pulse.  They are already giving a Lightspeed Jr. USB cable which is 2x as fast as the standard USB cable and this is the younger brother of the euro999.00 Lightspeed USB cable.

Wow! they are now talking femtoseconds in clock technology.  A "femto" clock is a super-duper-accurate clock. The term is short for femtosecond, which is one quadrillionth of a second. If used properly in a circuit design it can greatly reduce (or virtually eliminate) periodic errors in interpreting a digital signal (aka 'jitter').

Nerdilicious!

I stopped at the Pulse /f/i.  Did not want the xfi as the price has become rediculous.

I thought they were supposed to build affordable products for the masses.  With the new iteration, the prive is now at the $2k and above

The sad part is that they prioritized the variants with the largest order - Pulse XFi and pulse Sfi.  So my variant is still coming up.  Hopefully, the delay would ensure that the bugs have been fixes and by the time my variant is up for production, I will have no problem.  My only worry is that with the new variants still coming, they would not put so much effort in making my order to its best quality.

BTW, I also ordered the LPS and its was shipped ahead.

thanks for the update..been following the Geek Pulse from the day you mentioned it here..I was on the fence with this since I already have a DAC and just backed a crowdfunding campaign from Olive back then..so I just monitored the progress everyday at head-fi and lhlabs own forum lol and just remembered this thread awhile ago..I was surprised by the perk mania and the foreverfunding campaign and the MSRP and of course other products being funded..anyway I hope you will be able to receive yours this year and hopefully it will be worth the wait..

The guys at head-fi are already making jokes on LHLabs on the perk mania.  I think it's really too much.  LOL na lang then paminsan minsan ranting in their forum website......

First they offer your a single ended dac configuration, then balanced, then mono block, then upgrade parts here, upgrade parts there, upgrade casing ....... then came the source/dap, then blue tooth reciever, then tube buffer, then power amps, then head amp, then dac with tube output, then so on and so on......

yeah..they were really of to a good start before..affordable/bang for the buck if you will..not sure what products they have in mind now..looked it up and didn't know they have amassed 4.7M USD funds..for the mean time where do you use your LPS? or did you buy the LPS specifically for the Pulse only?

The LPS is still enroute via boat.

Will use it initially with my Geek Out and other Usb dacs.
