Topic: Using Spotify on Android from the Philippines

Spotify is now available for free on Android and iOS!

Problem is spotify is not available in our country.

I've figured a workaround and thought I'd share it.

Download the spotify app from here. http://goo.gl/J3sNH4

Then download Tunnelbear from Android store.

Turn on Tunnelbear before running Spotify.

Run Spotify and enjoy!

Caveat: Tunnelbear can only give you 500MB of VPN service per month. If anyone can let me know of another VPN service that will work, please let me know.

Damn! Good thing I saw this thread. Installed it on my iPhone, used my account and, guess what?! It's working! Woohoo!

Spoke too soon. My account was accepted but I still need Premium to stream through mobile devices. I guess it's back to the desktop version once again.

The Spotify app doesn't even appear in Google Play on my phone. Weird.
