Wharfedale Diamond 100 Series
« on: Jan 03, 2014 at 10:38 AM »
Anybody other owners of these badboys?
http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/product-list.php?cid=2

I use a Diamond 102C for center, Diamond 121 for my left/right surrounds and back left/right surrounds and a Diamond 155 (unfortunately the 157 that i've purchased didn't make it on the discussed delivery so the store lend me a 155 as a service unit, still now with me until now. bummer but i think it's better than nothing) for the fronts.

So far i'm enjoying it's output, i've paired them with an Onkyo TX-NR727 and a Wharfedale SPC10 subwoofer. I watched a couple of films and concerts with it and i'm really happy with what i'm hearing. playing fight night round 4(ps3) feels like i'm inside the arena, and it's as if i can feel those huge haymakers hehehe. with the 155 fronts you MAY get away without having a subwoofer (that's why i can't wait to get those 157 I PAID FOR).

other users pls do share your experience. :)

may i ask how is your wharfedale diamond set?  am seriously considering getting it.  i've listened to it and its quite warm on audio.  does it sound bright when watching movies?
