Topic: Pls identify my cd player....

Hi guys.

I have this sony 5disc cd changer from the 90's. It says sa front panel "2x oversampling digital to analog" does this mean it can decode 24bit cd's? Samsung dvd player kasi gamit ko na player and was thinking na ito nalang gamitin ko though i havent heard it sa speakers kasi walang lumalabas na sound pero through headphones meron and superb ang tunog.

hi sir? wala model number kahit sa likod? i think oversampling is not in the bits but in the frequency..what is your 24 bit sample file? 24/96? 24/192?

Wala atang 24bit na cds?

^ audio cd alam ko wala..baka 24bit na flac file naka burn sa cd? hehe

Guys. Update. Sadly, i tested it kanina and namimili sya ng cd. Puro orig naman yung sinalang ko pero isa lang ang nagply out of 10. I think this needs to be junked. Sayang. Hehe.

Im willing to part this out. Kahit cheap lang. Dagdag kalat lang eh hehe.

Guys. Update. Sadly, i tested it kanina and namimili sya ng cd. Puro orig naman yung sinalang ko pero isa lang ang nagply out of 10. I think this needs to be junked. Sayang. Hehe.

Baka it needs cleaning lang, or re-adjustment ng lens. Unless you really wanted a new one, baka may malapit kang suking repairman who's willing to try to adjust and clean it for you for a minimal amount.

Mali pala ako ang nakalagay sa  front panel is 4x oversampling digital to analog. Ummm....in laymans term ano po meaning? Tsaka kung marrepair ito, would this outclass my samsung dvd player sa sound quality ng cd?
