Has anyone here experienced owning or heard of the Boston Acoustics  A25 or A26 bookshelf speakers. It has gotten some good reviews and for the price, the craftsmanship of the speakers  is excellent. Inputs please ....

A25 is excellent. For its small size it really sounds large.
based on experience it needs a lot of space between the speaker and the wall.
Too near the wall and it becomes boomy (well good for HT, not for music)

I just got a hold to a pair of Boston Acoustics A250 last night. My initial observation was that it sounds pretty good. The mids are detailed, the lows are very good for such small mid/woofers (5.24") and the highs are also good enough. Per specs ay 89db and sensitivity nya but I think it is even higher ng konti. only downside ay hindi sya bi-wirable.

Thanks for the inputs guys. I was about to plunge into a A25 but a friend offered another option I can't resist, though, i still admire this A series. Hopefully someday ....

Sorry ngayon ko lang nabasa! Initially, i used a Baby G integrated amplifier (35 wrms). Now i'm using a Bada DC 220 (90 wrms) and it now sing even better. Mas gumanda na ang LFE nya. BTW, i am now selling these kasi di ko ma-maximize ang gamit, nasa bedroom lang kasi. I have a dedicated place for HT/Audio in our basement.

Yup thats the only downside sa speakers na ito, but kung no plans on bi-wiring, this are very good speakers

Got the A26 BS + A225 C for my upgrade.  Can't believe that these sound good too. Tested these with PM6004 and very please with the simple upgrade.

Currently running with my 1020 receiver.

Got to test these with the Onkyo 626 and very pleased with the sound stage presentation in movies. may move up to onkyos from my current pioneer receiver. Running these toe to toe with my 685 and very very pleased indeed for audio.

Actually all will do naman, depends on the clients preference kasi yan. No such thing as pangit na amp or pairing sir, every client has there own listening pref kasi, so kung meron ka fave brand of amp, go with it lang, make sure lang na hindi yun pinaka entry level para ma drive mabuti yun speakers

I have the A250 florstanders cooneaired to a denon x510bt. After 6 months of use, di pa ako na frustrate sa sound, it's getting better and better. Amazing soundstage and coherency. My preffered music type, from James Taylor, Hall, Oates, Jars of clay. Moody blues and a lot more.
