Video link above is on how electrostatic speakers are made. The video shows ML electrostatic speakers. It's the model Ethos shown. I once had a talk with Peter of ML concerning about "loosening" the panels when vacuum cleaning them. He said the 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double sided tape used to attached the panel to the stators are so strong that it will not fail for a very long time or when you vacuum clean your speakers. They had tested the adhesive by removing the VHB tape from the stator and that it can only be remove with tremendous strength and destroying the stator as a consequence of that removal. In short, the electrostatic panels of ML are not delicate or fragile.  :)
