Aside from who killed Barry's mother, I also wanna know the reason behind the killing. Why were Barry and his father spared? And who saved Barry? Wala pa binibigay na hint sa mga current episodes.

If you use the comics as reference, Wells probably is Professor Zoom who came from the 25th C. He is an obsessed fan of the Flash. He most likely knows the origin of the Flash in every detail. So he knew Barry's psychological make up as an adult started with his mother's murder. The father was spared so that he becomes the fall guy for the murder. Then Wells wants Barry to go through every event for him to become the Flash and that no other person must interfere. Or else Wells kills them. He knew Barry would be in his office and be struck by lightning. That is why he apparently had a CCTV camera installed or he hacked into the security camera of the police station.

And about Dr. Wells, he probably did get injured and put in a wheel chair after the particle accelerator blew. So the fact that he can walk meant that his injuries healed in an accelerated pace same as Barry suggesting he is indeed Eobard Thawne or the Referse-Flash.

In the comics, there were several instances that the reverse flash came back in time, one time was to kill Iris Allen ... one time was to search for Barry Allen because Barry was his idol and he wanted to meet him - Barry was already dead at that time though and Wally West was the Flash ... Reverse Flash' usual weapon to kill is to vibrate his hands and penetrate the skull of his victim, and this is what he did to Iris ... i would assume that this tv series is one of those times that the reverse flash time travelled

Another good episode. Easter eggs galore.... When Dr. Wells mentioned names who perished when the particle accelerator exploded, they are DC Comics superheroes!

It wasn't a 2 hour episode ata? O yung other half sa arrow?

Been loving this series lately. Pinaka aabangan ko of all the series I watch. Magaan panoorin e. Hindi sobra ang violence. Perfect blend lang ng lahat ng aspects like comedy drama etc.

Not sure if it's bad editing but they didn't show how they captured Rainbow Raider. Or maybe they're implying that he's not that difficult to stop

Anyway, good crossover episode on the whole. Capt. Boomerang naman mamaya yata on Arrow. Then it's the midseason finale next week, which promises to be a really good one based on what's being reported online.

The Flash was able to beat meta-humans in past episodes but could not beat the Arrow? Sobrang hina ba sumuntok ni Barry? Sa dami ng suntok na pinakawalan nya at bilis (F = ma), dapat na-knock out na si Oliver. In the end, tabla lang sila??

and full potential of the Flash is not yet achieved ... not sure if they would ever include it in the show, but he can vibrate through solid objects and even time travel

based on the storyline that they took, i doubt that they would include the speed force ... they made the particle accelerator as the root cause of Flash' power and the power of other meta-humans

Yep. Pero halos ganun din naman yung sa comics eh. Barry got his powers because of an accident. Later lang nila na discover and Speed Force because the speedsters accidentally time travelled.

When Barry became the Flash, the Speed Force was also created. So in the show, the Speed Force already exists because it was Barry Allen who created it. I don't know lang if the writers will touch on it in detail. But no doubt about it...the Speed Force exists in the show. With Allen creating the Speed Force, the origin of his powers doesn't matter whether it came from a particle accelerator or simply from a bolt of lightning.

hindi na siguro nila gagamitin sa TV show, would be quite confusing to viewers who did not read the comics

Hmmmmm. Somehow I'm not convinced they won't use the Speed Force. We already know what Dr. Wells knows about the future. That means there is a time travel aspect involved. What better way to explain time travel than the Speed Force?

i've noticed that they have featured the treadmill a couple of times, they can just imply that it's the time travel device - would be easier to understand for none Flash comics reader
