Any thoughts from the masters here? Ongoing promo w/ Free 65" until end of June 2014.

BTW Found a demo unit @ SM Cubao...

btw.. pansin ko lang.. new members like devants... yung mga kakaregister lang.. tapos 1st post usually about devant.. alot of them even made a new topic about devant...

I compared the 4k TVs of Devant, LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL performance and price. I think LG is more bang for the buck among all these options. Plus my experience with LG has been great, not so with Samsung or Sony.

clarification: 540k = 1 85" UHD 3d + 1 65" UHD 3d

so even with the Buy 1 Take 1 price? the masters here do not recommend it?  Thanks in advance!

I think they are a bit more concerned with the hit and miss with regard to the brand's chances for hardware failure as attested by some owners both in and out of this forum.

At that price of half a million pesos I still recommend getting a well known and tested brand... Kahit 400K pa yan without the free 65" TV, hindi ako susugal nang ganyang kalaking pera, not unless 10yrs ang warranty with direct replacement no questions ask...
But if you're willing to spend that much for a Devant TV, its your call ;)

Saw this yesterday naka sale less 45k so 500k na lang.  PQ is okay but not that great as compared to Sharp 90" at S&R for 360k only.

For that price, you can already have a complete 7.2 HT system with projector on a 100" screen and a decent universal bd player and newer full feature av receiver.

but dapat mas mura ng malaki.. hindi po similar price sa top brands..

anya618 : was out of touch with the prices. last time i checked 80 inches was 800++K. nagulat ako dito (Buy 1 Take 1 65 kasi) and after talking to the manufacturer itself for corporate sales, it was attractive for a time.... pero since asking around and in another thread here.. mukhang there are better deals if you take the 4k out of the picture (since there is zero to minimal content anyways)...

not an expert or a "master" here, just wanna share ... im thinking of getting a 55in devant as well but having second thoughtsssssss..... had a bad experience a few years back with my Devant LCD TV (and to think that was my first LCD TV). for a P540k price tag (even with a freebie) IMO is a bit too much.  might as well consider other well-known brands.
