Well, that is what they've shown in the playoffs. Magaling sa regular season, pero looking at their series against the Nets (which they should have easily disposed of based on their regular season performance) and the Wizards, they are playing like a subpar team. And now they are going to be swept.

I dont know about that. Remember when the hawks took the top seeded and then-champs celtics to 7 games in the first round 2008? The hawks were a bad team back then.. Being top seed doesnt mean you cant lose a couple games to lower tier teams.

Siguro what needs to be said here is masyadong maaga pa para majudge yung hawks as a regular season team only. Theyve been in the playoffs since 2008 and it remains to be seen if they can continue to compete at a high level for the coming years, kasi mediocre lang sila ever since eh.

Also the Hawks reached the East Finals.  Accomplishment na yun. There are several 1st seeded teams in the East that have not reached the Conference Finals man lang. So the Hawks are no pushovers.

I'm there with you. What I'm saying is that they failed to meet the expectation of being the top-seed. Or perhaps this is the Cavs' fault for not truly showing their full potential as a powerhouse team at the start of the season therefore allowing the Hawks to get the top seed in the East.

My evaluation that the Hawks is a regular season fodder team is a bit harsh. They deserve to be in the playoffs but their excellent teamwork during the regular season did not translate into playoffs success. Ok sa teamwork, kulang sa talent.

Lebron started 0 of 10 from the field.  And he is 1 of 6 from the 3 points.  So bad shooting night pero ang maganda di nya pinilit.  He found other ways to beat the opponent.  That's mental toughness for you.  And in the end, he put up video game numbers.

Actually, HAWKS had every chance to beat the Cavs in a close game.  Ang aga na penalty ng Cavs!  Poor execution lang on their part but overall, Hawks ain't bad despite playing without Korver and Horford.

If both Conference Finals end up in a sweep, the schedule of the NBA Finals could be moved up to June 3 (PH time), Wed. If not, original schedule for Game 1 is June 5 (PH time), Fri.

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/writer/ken-berger/25194657/nba-considering-moving-finals-up-to-june-2-but-change-is-unlikely

I hope NBA finds a way to move the dates up, if ever.
We deserve better.

Hindi na dapat umabot ng OT 'yung laban ng Haws at Cavs kanina, laro na kasi nilalaro pa ng Cavs. Ayaw ng boring win, mas gusto ata dramatic win.

Splash Brothers, watch out, Dellavedova is coming for ya!  ;)

Go Cavs!

LBJ surpassed Jason Kidd for 2nd overall in number of triple doubles in a playoff behind Magic's 30.  He also surpassed Karl Malone as 6th overall in all time playoff scoring.

For sentimental reasons, I really want Lebron to win another ring and give Cleveland it's first ever.  But damn, GSW is a STRONG contender and, IMO, has a stronger lineup.

This will be an exciting series.

GSW is a strong contender indeed. But CAVS has James and the Championship experience.

Houston rockets 22 win streak anyone? I forgot what year that was. Natalo sa first round yun diba? Thats what id call a regular season fodder. XD

Are you talking about 2007 to 2008 rockets?  Let's make a fair statement, Yao Ming was injured. Also the rockets were the 5th seed that time. You take any star player out of your team, especially in the playoffs, goodbye ka. Especially sa matchups versus some teams.

Look what is happening right now to the rockets, They don't have Beverly and Dmo, both starters and they are really having matchup problems versus GSW. I'm not taking anything away from GSW, but this year talaga buenas sila. They have no injuries whatsoever. You take out either Klay, bogut or Green throughout the playoffs starting sa Round 1, Kahit isa lang sa kanila, I don't think they will last, especially against Memphis. Curry is having a field day against grandpas Prigioni and Terry right now.

Buenas talaga sila, biggest injury for them is Bogut, who is under the weather for game 2 ata against rockets. Ano yan sipon? lol..I'm not cursing golden state for injury, but talaga buenas sila since start of the season. Biggest injury  I think was Klay injuring his ankle and missed 5 games in the regular season.

Also the teams they play against or will meet sa playoffs always have the injuries, namely Memphis with Conley and Allen. Rockets with Beverly and Dmo. Against the east, Kung against the cavs wala si Love and Irving (not sure pa), sa Hawks naman wala si Korver, Caroll may not be 100 percent. Against a excellent team like golden state you really need everybody.

From wiki

The 2007-08 Houston Rockets season was their 41st season in the National Basketball Association and 37th in Houston. The Rockets won at least 50 games for the second straight season and made the playoffs also on the back of a 22-game winning streak, the third longest in the history of the NBA. The Houston Rockets came into the 2007-2008 playoffs without Yao Ming, who was still injured. This injury contributed to the Rockets' elimination by the Utah Jazz in the first round (2-4).[1]

Harden is overrated! No team player!

He carried the team up to the conference finals with all the team's injuries. I don't think that is overrated. Houston was not even in any of the media's pick to last this far. You have Rick Fox admitting he was one of the naysayers and saying sorry to the Rockets. Si Cuban din. For me, it is already a successful season for Houston. Malay mo they win 4 straight. Clutch City!!!

^^Well, Speights is injured.

And it's not just all about luck, GS played well enough in the regular season that they were able to manage everyone's minutes without affecting team chemistry. Bogut was played sparingly in the reg season and even had an extended sabbatical in December. Curry sat 20 4qs and had the lowest per minute avg of any MVP ever. It's
not just luck,  GS's health in the offseason is also about good team management.

Spreights is a nobody. You take Green or Klay out of the playoffs they are deadmeat. Again I'm not taking anything away from gsw. I agree they are a well managed team. For me talaga buenas sila this year in terms of injuries.

You can say that for just about any team though. Take away their 2nd or 3rd best player in the highest level of competition and they're toast.

I think they'll start w/ Barnes to keep Dray from early foul trouble. He'll get looks from Iggy and Dray too.

That's easy.... Iman Shumpert.  But I see Lebron guarding him in stretches. Dellavedova siguro sa umpisa.  Si Shumpert tingin ko ang exclusive ke Curry.
