Pls chk rtings.com...all series 6 LG tv's have the same PQ the only difference is the features.medyo di maganda yung review nya especially the black levels and contrast.Sony and Samsung tv's are vastly superior to this tv PQ wise.

42lb6500 owner here...ok sya bang for the buck kung habol nyo features like smart tv and 3d saka ok din ang pq nya maganda blacks nya and color mix..anyway lg user na kasi ako mula pa nun kaya sanay nako sa lg mas maganda kesa sa iba ..yung webos nya medyo mabagal lang kasi bago panaman baka may update pa sya soon pero astig sya kasi dahil sa magic remote nya eye candy talaga kung may pera lang ako yung bigger model sana nito pero sa 42" ok na kasi mostly cignal hd lang at ps4 ang ginagawa namin minsan yung anak namin nag mimirror ng youtube nya kaya ayun..

120hz na ba refresh rate nito?  smooth motion na?  I'm also eyeing this model dahil ok sa price at features.
Thanks!

60hz lang ata panel nito eh, hindi native 120hz?

100hz refresh rate.  exceptional picture quality and bang for buck for a 3D and smart TV.  i was about to pull the trigger on a similar Sony at SM Appliance but switched to this unit last minute.   i'm not a big fan of its "magic" wand type remote control though

Contemplating whether to get this tv or the lg ub820, still can't decide but I'm leaning towards the lb6500 because of the 3d function

@im2bz,
Yung ub820 walang 3d? So 4K UHD lang siya? Native 120hz kaya panel nun?

Guys just got the tv and i have a few questions

1. When playing a 3d bluray do i need to enable the 3d function or it automatically detects 3d scenes ?

2. When i click on 3d on the remote parang its just doing a 2d to 3d conversion

How do you properly set it to watch 3d bluray films from a 3d bluray player

Hi! I'm considering the 50" model and want to ask how's webOS been for you? Do you use it? If you do, it's not buggy naman?

Appreciate your feedback, thanks! =)

bought 50LB6500 from Anson's Trinoma yesterday..ok naman po yung webos, user friendly and ok talagang gamitin using the magic remote(though yung cursor hinahabol ng tingin ng pusa namin..lol)..medyo nga lang hindi mabilis yung processing(pero for a tv i think ok pa naman yung ganun), and laggy sa pag-load ng list ng mga videos from external hdd(mukhang due to loading thumbnails)..pero overall great PQ and ok talaga mga features..

Thanks omi08! May I ask how much you got it for? Been reading at the webOS Forum kasi, buggy pa daw. Since first smart tv ko to, I don't know what to expect din or how I'll be using it. Pero excited to try it out. Mukang enjoy yung cat mo sa remote ha? Wonder what my dog will think of it.

Thanks again!

I don't play games or watch 3d so purely for watching tv, movies, etc is what I plan to do. Kaya gusto ko din ma try ang smart tv, see if useful siya sa akin. Sana next week may stock dun sa Trinoma, sa website nila na sa P46,700.00 na ang price sabi may 6 left in stock, siguro if you order online. Pero want to go test the unit out too. Btw tv ko now LG na basic lcd pa nga eh, pero never nag ka problem sa 3 years I've used it daily. Kaya want to stick with the brand na also.  :)

I just got my 50LB6500 delivered today care of voltz5. So happy he had it in stock, tumawag ako sa Anson's Trinoma, no stock at all. It's still in the box, I'm just waiting for LG to assemble/install it for me tomorrow. :)

If your planning to buy this years models, the more pa they will go on sale. Usually after New Year may big sales parati, so wait ka for that.

That said have my tv's up and running, di na dumating ang LG installer, nagpatulong nalang ako ibuhat ang tv and did it myself. Set-up was a breeze, everything worked from the get go, bilis mag connect sa wi-fi network even with my LG G2 Mini with the SmartShare app works. Just been playing with the set the whole night. Coming from my basic LG lcd tv this is a major upgrade, awesome pq na for me as I'm not that picky too. Maybe the only minus for me is the sound, for this mid range model same lang sa old LG ko. Using it with my Sky Cable box, medyo mahina nga ang volume for me, but minor quibble next to all the features. I can even use my old tv's remote too if the Magic Remote is too finicky, but it's very responsive, have not tried the mic yet.

There aren't many apps on the lg store, the Facebook one kinda sucks too. Used the browser with the remote, but better with a keyboard, will try out a wireless one soon. And depending on your wifi network, mine is fast enough on fibr, surfing the web isn't bad. I also appreciate the hdmi with arc, will be able to use this on my avr too. Kudos to webOS, it's been great so far. At this point life's good.  :)

I only have a regular sized one for testing, which I haven't tried yet. Sa isang post here for his review of his 55LB6700, he was using a small Measy kb and it worked, may pic pa dun you can check out. You got your new replacement tv na? Ok na siya now?

Dun sa isang youtube video, parang nagawa nya na yung magic remote ang gagamitin for tge set top box. Ganun din ba sa iyo airborne? Or do you still use the skycable remote?

Ako kasi naka-cignal naman so para alam ko if one remote na lang for the tv and the box.
