Basic 40-42" LED TV
« on: Sep 16, 2014 at 12:19 PM »
Anyone can suggest me which one to choose of my choices below the best/bang for the buck 40-40" LED TV in your opinion.

1. Sony 40W600B/R472B - 29k/25k

2. Samsung 40H5100 - 27k
One more thing I like about this tv yung parang may surge protector sya.

3. LG 42LB5510 - 26k
I also like its body, I think meron silang parang aluminum color finish.

Lastly...
4. Toshiba 40L2400VP - 23.5k
I think this tv deserves a spotlight, ganda ng color production nya and very deep ang black just like the Sony.

Im not that expert pagdating sa tv, my judgment only based on what I saw sa mga appliance center, wala talaga akong knowledge about how to compare displays, minsan may factor din sa akin ang looks. Thanks in advance everyone.

Yan ang rason bakit tosh binili ko. It can play 28 movie formats at 120hz ang refresh rate. So ok xa for fast moving scenes

Tank you Sir. I have no idea sa refresh rate nya pero kung 120hz nga eh di maganda nga yun.

ang pinagbagsakan ko 47lb5610, he he he..... basic led tv, konti lang price diff vs dun sa tatlo sa taas plus meron kang pang additional 5 to 7 inches for viewing. A big tv is a wonderful thing, para di na din ako magsisisi kung bakit hindi pa yung malki ang binili ko.

meron din silang 49 inches kaso for me parang di praktikal that you shell out 10k for additional 2 inches.

Go with what you like the most.

I don't know how they are locally, pero sa US medyo delikado na ang Sony pagdating sa support since nagbabawas sila ng service centers and medyo bitin na din ang parts availability. Malaki na din kasi nalulugi nila. Sony uses mostly AUO (Taiwan) MVA panels for their entry level to mainstream TVs, Samsung PVA panels for their midlevel to higher end panels, and LG IPS panels for their 4K TVs.

Toshiba mostly uses Samsung PVA panels, hence the good black levels (PVAs deliver the darkest blacks among LCD panels).

@TS, merong lg na buy one take one ah. LG 42LB552A. I think nasa 22K siya cash price. To differentiate it sa ibang lg models, look for the one with the white back panel.

Sabi ko nga dati what if mag-Devant, Hi-Sense.. pero iba pa din talaga kapag like the above brands.

Medyo pabagsak na ako Sir sa Toshiba, thanks for those insights Sir. Dati na din kasi akong may 32" Sony and very satisfied sa service nila, although medyo pricey talaga sila compared sa ibang tv brands, I also tried LG Customer Service, very good din sila. :)

Parang pagkaintindi ko dun is cheapest 42" na pwedeng mong bilhin. Tinanong ko kasi pag card price (12mos) kung how much. 50K daw for two units pero pag cash 22k each so 44k thereabouts yung price.

I think 47lb5820 yung sinasabi ni kraut. Smart tv with out web os ok din yun.

Ako naman baka 2013 model kukunin ko. Samsung 46f6400. Pero titingnan ko din yung 2014 counterpart niya which is 48h6400.

@liamdesireful

Php40K kuha ko bro sa lg 47lb5610 thru card.

Though di naman ako bigot with those other brands you mentioned pero same with you I go for established brands. di naman kasi biro yung cash na ilalabas mo tapos masisira less than a year dagdagan pa ng worst or di magandang Customer Service for your unit and concerns.

FYI. Meron nakabili ng Toshiba 40L2400VP @ P16,327.00 in an appliance store in Trinoma. Metrobank credit card promo. If you don't own Metrobank credit card, cash price is P18,500. Yung promo until tom daw. Other models available. 30% off on SRP.

...guaranteed to rock your world!
