its quite ok. the built in signal booster works as expected. for analog cable TV viewing its satisfactory.

I was also offered this tv yesterday for roughly 36 k (plus wall bracket) and according to the product specialist, it already has CEVO Engine (http://www.regza-asia.com/styles/media/pdf/Product_Spec_P-L2400_00_Range.pdf). This is what I'm now considering instead of the TCL 55 4K or the Devant 55CB520.

Its true, you should also pay for peace of mind if you're sinking a sizable sum of money for any big-ticket appliance. Thanks btw to those who responded to my query. Appreciate it.

Thinking of getting the 47 inch version of this. Kamusta naman ang aftersales ng Toshiba? Totoo po ba na wala silang home service? Ang hassle naman kung ako pa magdadala sa mga service center. Ito at yung lumang model ng Skyworth na 50e66 ang pinagpipilian ko.

Happy and satisfied owner here. DVD, Blueray, Gaming, SD cable, Hi Def streaming use...this TV just delivers quality images. Just make sure you have an HDMI switcher to accomodate multiple digital sources.

finally I was able to got hold of this TV. for it's price, sulit naman. bummer lang talaga yung 1 HDMI input.

But coming from a plasma tv, I really missed the black levels of plasma. I think hindi pa kaya tapatan ng entry LEDs ang pagka deep black ng plasma. one advantage of this tv over plasma eh hindi reflective ang screen hehe, pero for image quality I still prefer plasma. hindi ko pa ma-timpla yung correct settings for this.

also, walang audio output when playing mkv files with DTS audio. although even on my previous tv, I don't use it's built-in media player.

congrats. Thats a nice TV. When you manage to get the settings right it will be just as close to a Plasma. Came from a plasma unit as well and that was my first observation when I got the Tosh55L2400.

just got it last night and I don't have much time to tinker with it hehe..

also, does this tv have a soap-opera effect or something close to it? EDIT: did some backread, parang meron nga hehe.. do you use or notice any improvement when using this feature?

what I also love with this TV is the speaker. may pagka bass sya and layo sa ibang lcd/plasma na halos tunog lata.

I think I posted my basic settings above. Anyways that soap opera effect is something that I have not tinkered with. Yes I agree that the built in speakers from this TV is a step above the ones that I currently have. The only hassle sa Toshiba talaga is when you switch channels when watching TV. It takes 2 to 3 seconds. I though they were able to solve this issue already but apparently they did not. All in all its bang for the buck.

Are you using digibox? Sa akin wala naman lag when changing channels, im using sky hd digibox

Check your units. My friend replaced his Tosh for having awful backlight bleeding. The replacement came and it, too, has the problem.
