Kung di kaya ng budget and Audio Note Oto, a nice replacement will be the Rogers E20a. O kaya order ka na lang Audio Note Kit na Li or L3 na EL84.

Another great amp for the De Capo is the Almarro 318B

Listening to the De Capos right now @ Watts Hifi Makati Cinema Square! Wow! Even if its just powered by a 50wpc Rega Brio-R, it's impressive! Really large scale, excellent depth in imaging, plus you don't feel its lacking in bass. Really hard to beat at its price level

I heard the Ref 3A De Capo in Watts HiFi MCS a couple of weeks ago.

I literally had to go back to it.

Got tickled by the Be dome tweeters.

I will be very honest...I have tried both Rega and Creek with the Ref3A MM DeCapo BE. Produces a so-so sound -- must be system matching. It cannot bring out the real potential of the DeCapos. Best bet really is Audio Note, Leben, Rogers, Almarro, Class A Accuphase, SET Line Magnetic. I have tried an Accuphase E250 with the Ref3A and I felt the speakers were "shouting". These speakers perform best for amplifiers with power rating of 8wpc to 25wpc. Thanks!

I encourage all of you to give it a serious listen! It's really ONE OF THE BEST standmounts you'll ever listen (using the right amp and source)...

with a lot of willpower and saving up, I could probably get the little brother of the DeCapo, the Dulcet BE.

Congrats! I had a chance to audition these lovely pair 2 weeks ago. The highs is very very revealing. I just wish I had the chance to audition it in a better room because yun demo room na ginamit was very squarish. Though maganda naman talaga yun lows, kinda exaggerated because of room modes. It was initially partnered with Rega CDP. Pero when we switched to Rotel, it transformed into a different beast! Lumabas yun mids and lows became tighter. Very critical and transparent siya. Pang wish list ito. Hehe!

Heard this set twice kina sir courage. Panalo ung BE! Lambing na madetalyado. I thought fullrange ung woofer at super tweeter ung BE but when i listen to it closely, bomoboses din pala. Tunog mayaman! Heard it with the NAD but balita ko mas malupit pa daw ngayon. Hehe
