Pards, pardon my ignorance and please pakilipat ung thread if i posted in the wrong section.

We would like to invite the Home Audio Community to come and check out our weekly Car Audition Nights! session held every Friday night, 8PM-onwards at H.I.D. Marcos Highway (right besides AMA College and Wilcon Depot).

The Car Audition Nights! is sanctioned by the Kotse Audio Club with the main goal to introduce Car Audio to everyone and allow members to audition set-up, tune cars and discuss anything about Car Audio.  Every week we are featuring 1 Installer to showcase their products and services and on this Friday, October 24, we are delighted to present Mickeys Autosound ---> http://mickeysautosound.com.

The culmination of the Car Audition Nights! came after the success of our Audition Nights! sessions in collaboration with our own PDVD legend Nelson de Leon (Nelson is also part of KAC).  We did a series of Audition sessions with the Car Audio guys to various shops - AudioAmplified, AVDI and LIS.  We were pleased to crossover from plain Car Audio to Home Audio and has learned a lot in the process.  We then invite everyone to come and pay us a visit!

We assure you this would be fun!  The fundamentals that we are accustomed in Home (soundstage, imaging, etc.) and even the drivers we use (focals, morels, scans, vifa) are quite the same.

The time is divided into 2 categories, 8PM-11:30PM is devoted to plain SQ.  Here you could hop in various cars to listen.  11:30PM-onwards is that of ESQL/SPL.

Wow! I wish i could go to the event. I have a thing in makati until 10pm! I want to join as my car isn't finished yet. hehe. I had my car setup with mickey's. I'm running an all DLS setup.

Fronts : - DLS 6.2 Nordica
Sub: - DLS Nordica 10"
Amp: - DLS RA30 3 channel amp. stashed underneath the passenger seat as it's the only size that could fit.

That's my phase 1.

My phase 2 would be:-

HU:- Upgrading to the 2014/2015 flagship 2-din model of Pioneer or Alpine (one that has either android or carplay).

Amp:- planning to have a full active system. So another DLS amp.

Processor: - still thinking about this.

Sound dampening for the whole cabin. Currently the front doors and foot wells have them.

Hi sir! just got back from the car audition! got there 11pm since i left makati around nearly 10. Was able to meet sir Paeng!

Very friendly people. Was able to audition 3 SQ cars. Was blown away with some of their setup. Proper tuning and really nice gears.

Sir Paeng, Sir John Kevin, Sir Elco (?), and Doc (i forgot his name, i just remembered him being a dentist), thank you for the kwentuhan and tips until 2am. Next time sa Hollywood na tayo mag EB! >:D 8) :o

Thanks pare.  BTW, it was Doc Bert you met.  Kita kits on Friday!  If you came a bit earlier, naabutan mo sana ung 2 cars with stunning set-up.  One is equipped with Micro Z speakers powered by Celestra Amps and Alpine F1 Status head unit.  The other one has a micro z speakers paired with ground zero reference amps!

That was nice sir. Really would love to attend this, abala kasi itong work sa hobby natin :) Probably will be a more regular visitor when my project gets done too. Sana may weekend version ng Car Audition Nights... Paging boss Paeng...

nice! baka naman pwede i-rotate ang locations, e.g north -> central -> south -> north...  para may chance lahat ng tao makapunta. may kalayuan kasi for south guys ang marcos ave (ok i'm just speaking for myself here :D )

will see pare as the project progress.  we just did 2 sessions and we hope to gain more followers.  we plan to "cut and grow".  Once we had the critical mass and the program runs by itself, we will open for a new location para naman we could expand our world.

Sana home audio guys could pay us a visit.  we promise this will be rewarding specially.  listening to a lot of gears in a single night is very fun!

Enjoyed the session last night and stayed there until 12. Was able to compare the advantages of a 2-way, 3-way and Full-range. I think we have closed the gap in between a high-end dedicated home audio and car audio with these sets. Kayo and idol ko! Kapag lumaki ako sana maging ganyan din kaganda system ko :)

See you again this friday guys! We will have no featured installer but one of the pillars of car audio industry, Mickey Tang, will be present. For those supporting the activity and along with our goal to help the car audio community grow, please come as well. Aside from the usual audition sessions, we plan to hold a table discussion to discuss our plans and programs for the weeks ahead.
